Excellent hospital! Saved my mother's life, at one time!
Pay attention to the elderly you know. If they are more "out of it" or tired, memory slipping, depressed and have suppressed appetite, get them to the doctor.
My mom went through this exact same thing, passed out at the wheel and wrecked her car. Fortunately, she was traveling on a low traffic service road at slow speed, hitting the guardrail before rescue personnel arrived.
She was in the hospital three days with sepsis that started with a UTI. Scary stuff.
I AM the elderly I know.
I hope you can get the help you need! I'm seeing issues in myself, at age 72, that were not there before: Navigating traffic, remembering appointments, even getting dressed with severe shoulder conditions that will require replacements soon. God bless you!@@dcolb121

My mother went to the hospital on July 4th, 2023 with stomach pain. She was African American and 84 years old. Instead of an antibiotic drip they gave her pain medicine. They would not keep her over night they sent her home. She died less than two days later. The hospital was Southeast Georgia health system in Brunswick, Georgia. I need a lawyer. Please help us!

It depends how full (of COVID patients) the hospital is. Our local hospital will allow one person to go in with any patient, but they explained that it could change if they got hit with a lot of COVID cases. If you are in a well vaccinated area, it is likelier you can visit hospitalized relatives.
