Vehicle subscriptions are short- or long-term programs that allow someone to pay a daily or monthly fee to drive several different models in an automaker’s lineup. And, unlike traditional purchases or leases, participants may switch between vehicles based on convenience, need, or simply emotional desire.
One automaker that has embraced the innovative subscription services is Porsche, which launched “Porsche Passport” program in 2017. “Porsche Passport” and “Porsche Drive” put the automaker’s entire fleet at a participants fingertips via mobile app and concierge delivery.
