Lorraine Motel | National Civil Rights Museum | Memphis, Tennessee

As a road schooling family it’s super important to me that the boys learn our history. I don’t have a history curriculum because I choose to visit museums where the boys can learn about history, I’m finding that the observe a lot more information when they see it in person than they do when learning from a text book.
I had no idea the Lorraine Motel where Rev. Dr Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated was in Memphis when I found out I knew this was a place we needed to visit and I truly recommend everyone visit this place.
