That box of tricks seems to work really well. Things like this always promise excellent results and are usually crap, but this unit I'm rather impressed with. Thanks Freddie 👍
Thank you for sharing Fred . I think that as a legal technicality ,it is a good idea to have a type approved cb & pmr too , it's something to have that we can quickly plug in if need be .
Hi there Fred in the shed. I love your ace videos, keep up the great work and here's a middle finger to all the haters... Liked and I love it....be safe..73's.....
Nice video Fred. I was told these devices don't work too well on FM, however you seem to demonstrate it does improve things on that mode (to my ear at least). I'll maybe look to getting one in due course. Off topic, I got a nice little copy into your part of the country a few days ago when the skip was in. Spoke to a chap called Mark from Dartford (he said he didn't use a handle), so if you catch him give him my regards please (delta bravo, homebased at Eccleston in Lancashire). Keep up the good work buddy!
Thanks David. Ive not had a QSO with Mark bit if i ever do i will try to rem to pass on your greetings. This BHI filters and speakers do work better on SSB but can also help FM. As long as your realistic and dont expect these to cure all QRM they can certainly help.
ss6900n i owned this rig modulation is low in the extreme fred 7900 superstar is a better rig i use a kenwood ts2000 widebanded im in belfast here a few die hard cbers still operating a small net totaling 15 to 20 people started using cb 80s through to early 90s give up came back on bout year and a half ago your videos inspired me to make a cb comeback lol good luck fred
Just been chatting to Robbie in messenger about the noise eliminator...a few more tests on other ones like AM and F M Fred....if it works out well, I'll probably get one...be worth it for the contact! Great video matey
Thumbs up Fred, as always , I wish to save the confusion that you only had one channel , it gets confusing sometimes but great video ,and don’t worry about the haters , and jealous types ,, as the old saying goes takes all to make a world,, I got a thumbs down quite quickly after my latest video went on air cheers shane
Great video as always Fred! I love the Grant 2 - I've got the premium version and don't have any issues with noise and on the road mobile it's fantastic as the controls are easy to use and there is zero noise floor except when you drive through a village or town which is normal. Good idea about switching modes to FM once a week - which frequency have you decided to use? Cheers Rob
Cheers Rob. Yes ive heard they have worked on the noise issue with the premium. Love the build quality of the Grant 2. Looks like we are aiming for Channel 14 UK FM on friday at 4pm.
Hi Fred great video's. Just looking at sides of your loft. What is the silver stuff you using as I have my shack in my loft. But dreading summertime. Just wanted to know does the silver stuff stop heat etc.
Hi Fred I’ve just set up my grant 2 it’s about 5yrs old first time I have used it and it doesn’t light up and the up change on the mike doesn’t work. Got any idea what wrong?
Hello Fred!! Enjoy ure vids! Got a grant II' lovely looking just trying to get my head round tune n swr? Its a base station! Any good ideas where to place anttena in frontroom? Radiator?? Needs to be metal yeah? Pc metal case but afraid of knackering it! Cant wait to get out there but need to learn basics! Anyway Cheers for vids and learning! Any ideas welcome! Ta Magnetic base!
Hi. Got to get an antenna outside to work prop otherwise you get too much noise blocking the signal. Ive made a few videos about antennas etc . Check out the links below. A £30 silver rod on a pole in the ground works well even if its only a couple of meters off the deck.
@@CB-RADIO-UK Ahh thanks!! Look forward to watching em!!!Thought as much! Have had a short conversation while back on the radiator! Prob is im 4th floor in block of flats!!! Thinking mounting it out the window?Doess it have to be in the ground!!! Sorry going on!! Cheers Fred!!! Trail n error!! Ta

They certainly do work. Not the answer to every noise problem but any little helps. The BHi speakers offer the best value. Thanks for the comment.
A troll eliminator would be a great invention 😂
Keep doing it your way fred

Something wrong with people who push the dislike button on purpose. Like your videos Fred in The Shed 2
Thanks Chris.
Can’t say why but really like my grant despite its little faults cheers Shane
I think its the build quality.
This unit appears to be working Fred. I always enjoy listening to radio chatter. A local FM Friday Free For All.
Cheers Andy. I think it works better on maybe the 6900N . Review video will be on Fred1 at weekend :-)
It's nice to just see you sort of stumbling around, quite entertaining. Like the vid , Fred
Cheers.
It does make a difference Fred, catch you tomorrow 👍👍👍👍

@@CB-RADIO-UK Looked for his video on his timeline, but can't find it...definitely more test videos needed to try to reduce our little problem today

👍👍Hi Guys👍👍😍
Hello HI GUYS
Hello could you test this software? Look up androidcircuitsolver on google
16+16+16+16=64. Spooky!
Yeah thats weird
16/64 = 25% which, coincidentally is how much of the working day I have spent today by watching Fred videos.
Take an original export Grant and you don't need that BHI box ;)
New rigs are noisy with lousy NB LOL.
try a qrm eliminator..
I have an XPhase but cannot get it to work well.
your mice is not very good, far too much bass.
Maybe i should buy a CAT then ?
