This is the true Brooke that everyone overlooks. She is the heroine of the show but flawed through decisions and consequences. But she truly loves Ridge and what she's doing here is self-less. Brooke is my favorite character. It was Stephanie's constant attacks on Brooke that made her insecure -that and her father deserter her. And, fans may not want to admit it but Brooke was deeply in love with Nick. Her choice of trying to set her feelings for Nick aside cost her big time.
Brooke is likeable to some people only because Brad Bell has written the scripts to make her the main heroine of her age group. If you look at the earlier shows when Caroline was still alive, Caroline was clearly Ridges "destiny" not Brooke. Brooke was the "2nd choice" back in those days. After Caroline died and Taylor was introduced, it could have gone both ways. In fact Taylor was Ridges next bride, and she kept him extremely happy until she was in that plane crash. After Bill Bell's departure, the scripts have gone downhill and Brooke steadily became the star of B&B. It's sad because I really loved the show. I'm just happy that there is so much of the OG episodes on CZcams.

This is the true Brooke that everyone overlooks. She is the heroine of the show but flawed through decisions and consequences. But she truly loves Ridge and what she's doing here is self-less. Brooke is my favorite character. It was Stephanie's constant attacks on Brooke that made her insecure -that and her father deserter her. And, fans may not want to admit it but Brooke was deeply in love with Nick. Her choice of trying to set her feelings for Nick aside cost her big time.

Brooke is likeable to some people only because Brad Bell has written the scripts to make her the main heroine of her age group. If you look at the earlier shows when Caroline was still alive, Caroline was clearly Ridges "destiny" not Brooke. Brooke was the "2nd choice" back in those days. After Caroline died and Taylor was introduced, it could have gone both ways. In fact Taylor was Ridges next bride, and she kept him extremely happy until she was in that plane crash. After Bill Bell's departure, the scripts have gone downhill and Brooke steadily became the star of B&B. It's sad because I really loved the show. I'm just happy that there is so much of the OG episodes on CZcams.
