Tupac vs X is a better debate than pac vs big, hov, or nas. Those guys are some of best the lyricists of all time and pac and x make more emotional music that you can feel. But I heard that Pac is a legend because this narrative was pushed to us. I loved X songs but never listened to Pac’s music, just knew him as a character and “king of rap”, cause east vs west coast was very hyped throughout whole world. But didn’t ever heard any of his songs, until we got older and find out more about hip hop. But maybe the reason is that Pac died and X was hyping in 2000s. So for me it’s just a different opinions and preferences. Maybe few years older guys enjoyed Pac more, cause they grew up in that timeline.
