Chiefs fan here, fan since 1963. Denver second least favorite team (Raiders), but I am also a fan of the NFL, not just the Chiefs. Been listening to this pod this year, and I admire MS for his knowledge and his honest take on issues despite the flack he must get. I agree that value of the big boys on the front lines is way undervalued (see Super Bowl LV). Very entertaining for an ex-Bronco!
@@StinkinTruthPodcast I remember an interview a ways back with Terrell Suggs, then with the Ravens, asked about an upcoming game with the Steelers (those were always must- see games) and whether they hated the Steelers. Suggs replied that “hate is a strong word, but in this case I think it’s appropriate.” Cheers!
@@StinkinTruthPodcast Love this podcast, why do you think niners are gambling? They made aiyuk an offer and he said himself they were ready to make a deal but market exploded, Trent they've agreed to pay him there just trying to find sweet spot so are they gambling? I'd say they there actually not gambling there trying to find sweet spot and both guys will be ready week1, I understand I could be wrong but listening to all parties we have to realise niners are trying to get it done there just being future aware whilst knowing both deals need to be made.
Still waiting on Schlereth's bold draft day prediction of A-Rod's relocation to Denver to come to fruition. This is what you get with the Sensitive Genius. The Broncos should count themselves lucky.
As a giant American from the snowbelt, I felt like an alien in Spain where everyone was a little person, and they were all wearing down jackets in March while it was 70°F and I had on shorts and t-shirt.
Mike I empathize, but the t-shirt is priceless. Mike are you aware of sun screen lotion. You could have your buddies take turns lubing you up at the pool. Great show as always and glad to have you guys back.
I disagree with the sit in thing. The teams agreed to the dodging of a fine by the sitting in method. So good for the players get the money, God knows these teams will break a contract in a heartbeat if it benefits them.
I think its smart cuz it keeps good faith between the player sitting in and the front office while minimizing the chance of injury but i think stink is just pointing out that it doesnt actually put any pressure on the front office and you being there but not participating might make your teammates feel some type of way so might as well just not show up at all
@@marklumar2034 I don't think your teamates would be upset they know it's a business and they know there is a good chance that it's gonna happen to them one day. Not showing up at all would rack up fines, if my understanding of the rules are correct.
I think Ayiuk is worth the money he's asking for but i don't think hes currently worth that to the niners specifically and they arent yet in a position where they have to trade him so his options are take less with them or risk waiting to get paid by someone else. I also think 2-3 years from now he would be more valuable to the niners as deebos contract is almost up and kittle is aging
If what they say is correct, how do you define a Football player? Only the big guys that get hit in the line counts. Could a line baker or a center be a good Qb or WR? Different positions call for different sizes and qualities. But each one of the 11 men on the fields are football players, some mor complete than other. The best player on each position should be on the list.
Best WR of 2000's is Larry Fitzgerald. Never had a solid QB except for short stretches with Warner and Palmer and still is only behind Rice in stats. Also can't forget the 08 Superbowl run.
there’s an idea out there about a salary cap for QBs. On its base It’s sounds good. Help teams keep players. For example15% of the total cap. Or is there no going back?
Imo its a bad idea. Could keep the best players from acrually making what they deserve and theres no guarantee teams will use the extra money to keep other key players. Also, it would keep player salaries from growing across all positions. If the QB had a cap then players like Nick Bosa and chris jones would also be making significantly less
I just have to ask? Is Dan Marino on your “big boy table”? Because I guarantee you he is on most everyone else’s. He has zero super bowl wins. Aaron may have only one, but he has done it. How many other QBs have had 4 MVPs? Aaron Rogers is probably the best QB to ever touch the field… right after Peyton, but that’s still a toss up. Just because their TEAM couldn’t get it done done don’t mean jack diddle when comes to what was done on the field, with who, all the time.
@@gillster3744 NO Completely Different Players, YOU should know that ! Dion was great in most Coverage and Scoring TD's and the other 2, Hit Hard and caused Fumbles.
This narritive always confuses me cuz it would mean last year the niners and the panthers had the same season but i guarantee niner fans, players, management, and owners all feel like they have won a significant amount in comparison
This podcast quickly became one where I look forward to and set time aside for the new episodes, let’s go stink + mike
Thank you
Stink firing shots today!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 HILARIOUS!!

If Mike says something in the woods and Mark isn't there to hear him, is he still wrong?
Glad I found this podcast.

Stink was the stereotypical Jock man 🤣 🤣 🤣 love it

The Chiefs won their last 6 games when they Benched Toney & Moore, That's all. right into the SUPER

I'm surprised these two Denver media types didn't mention Von Miller's omission from the top 25.
Good call

Capitalism doesn’t have a cap
Take a look a how many points Green bays defense has given up in playoff games Rodgers lost
I missed it maybe, did Aaron rogers not make the list??! He is better than all those QBs and Lamar Jackson… and won a superbowl
