Hi John, the guitar sounds and looks great. At under £200 that has got to be a fantastic deal. If you do move it on I would think that one of your students might well snap it up. I'm waiting for delivery on a Harley Benton instrument. It was my birthday during the week and my family gave me a little money to get myself a treat. Nowhere near enough to get a guitar with and I don't really need anymore gadgets, my "Cube Baby" does me well when I record so I went for a................(whisper) ukulele. The spec on their site looks great. A mahogany body and bone nut all for £29 plus postage. It might well be a lot of fun to have,

hi john ! I bought this guitar in B stock this morning after being disappointed by a fazley tortoise "thinline" which had an inoperative trussrod and a really not nice finish... so I went to the competition and hope not to be disappointed by this guitar!

great review, however your mention of Thomanns customer service re late delivery, spiked a similar memory for me, 2 years ago bought a set of 4 Gretsch pot knobs to replace the shoddy plastic one on the guitar, an iten the size of a boiled sweets package cost €15 delivery, being late I emailed them , 'be patient it's coming' I rang them ,young girl told me to chill it's coming, I reminded them it was way out of time frame given, then was told that a holiday delayed delivery, the holiday came after the time for delivery, eventually got them, but the experience refreshed in my mind, makes me think twice about using them again😆

Sounds great in your mix. I'm more of a Fusion strat guy, but the tele looks great, too (even with the weaker flame maple). HB is killing it at that price point.

Great tones from a lovely looking guitar, you should call the axe BB for Budget Blondie !! 🎸😁

Looks like HB's 25th anniversary Fusion T. I have two anaversary models one is kind of a very upgraded traditional telecaster, the other is a jazzmaster style with the same upgrade treatment. Both are great fun! Satin copper color?

no need for a razor John.
a fine grade foam type sanding block does a great job of rolled fret board edges. especially with no binding to worry about.
neck of if your worried about the top of the guitar body gettin scratched although ive never had any problem leaving it on just be carefull.

Yes, QC is pretty random with HB guitars from what I can see. My Fusion-t was intoned well and neck relief was good but frets were sooo scratchy couldn't have been checked. It sounds really good with your rig John though, I know the LAF pickup get a bad press but they sounded spectacularly good in that mix.

Hi John! Did you end up keeping the guitar? I am a lefty here trying to decide which guitar to get. I'm between this one or maybe Epiphone sheraton or ibanez AS93FML. Thanks for the vid!

I got rid of the guitar in the end. I bought a Jet JT350 which I loved the feel of, so I upgraded the p/ups & had it refretted with Jescsar stainless steel wire. I shot the Jet & the HB out against each other and kept the Jet. That said, the Fusion T is a MAGNIFICENT guitar 👍

Hi John, seeing as this video was filmed a few weeks ago with the novelty value presumably well worn, what's your opinion now?

I’ve developed a ‘need’ for a guitar to have in drop d and I’m currently between the trem version of this and the Sire T7 FM. The Sire is roughly £150 more but I really like the feel of the neck on my S7, what price on that ‘certainty’?! this all hinges on me selling my Fender Blacktop Jaguar 90 though as I’m strictly one in one out!
My question for Steve Cassidy is, what strap do you pair with a blonde guitar?!

I bought the last one in B stock this morning, I hope I won't be disappointed...? All that remains is the version with vibrato on the Thomann website but more expensive

I am getting the impresion that Thoman is experiencing such a downturn in electric guitar sales that 25% off won't make up for it. Fender says they lost almost $100 million in cancelled deliveries last year at the same time as Harley Benton was getting ready for their 25th anniversary. After my last poor delivery experience from them, I am done. Mind you, I have a semi-hollow, 2 tele types, a jazz master hardtail and their version of the SG so I think I am set!

It will age as well as a fender or a Gibson. The appointments are all quality as you would expect to find in well known brands.
