I met my biological family for the first time last Christmas. We were similar in a way but at that point I truly understood how lucky I was to escape growing up with them.
Met mine as an adult and had a similar experience. All sorts of abuse and criminality in my biological family. Adoptive family wasn't the best either, but nothing in comparison. My grandpa is a murderous, drug dealing neo-nazi, for example.

This was such a good episode. Sarah is probably one of my favourite podcast guests. The entire podcast had me smiling. Especially with the conversation at the end. I really needed that. Iâve been struggling a lot lately with depression and trying to find some meaning to life. Hearing conversations like that adds new insight into how I manage my own problems.

Recovering alkie & addict here also, and for sure watching an EP of Tigerbelly is better than taking a drink. Not sure how long you've been sober, but just take it a day at a time, sometimes a minute at a time. If you're relatively new, the weird dreams will go away soon. For me, using ALWAYS makes things worse in the long run; never better. Keep the faith, bro!

Khy has such a dark perspective. The Philippines has a violent history. The past family trauma could be related to that environment. Sheâs living too much in the past. She should try to think, âstarting with me, Iâm going to change my line for the betterâ. Itâs not all genes. Kind parents and surrounding the child around kind people makes a huge difference. I actually think thatâs something sheâs trying to convince herself of (that she doesnât want to continue her family line). I think khyâs very insecure and sheâs the most popular sheâs ever been. Maybe she thinks Bobby would leave her or cheat on her after she has a baby (he apparently cheated on her not too long ago) and everything she works for will fall apart. Khy, believe it or not, does have those motherly instincts. She cares for all those dogs and her niece. I think sheâs insecure with Bobby. Thereâs a misconnection somewhere. I respect her for being careful. Far too many people have children for the wrong reasons. I do think Khy will regret it more then Bobby if she doesnât have children.

When I was really struggling with anxiety I too had issues swallowing. Especially, when I was out in public eating. I would chew my food soooo long because I could not swallow. I remember having to keep water near by because I feared of choking in public.

Shhhh you should be seen and not heard
You can rapid swallow with water. You dont need to drink a bunch or chug it or anything. Just sip it very lightly so only a few drops tickle your throat. It will give you the ability to swallow a bunch of times very quickly. This is actually a hiccup cure I've been doing since I was a kid.

I used to be miserable with it , crying and everything, but I think I just got used to it at this point.. after 10 years! It's so annoying!! @@sweetslipperydee I watched every episode of Tigerbelly up until a year ago. Bobby has said multiple times that he gets jealous and believes in monogamy and traditional relationships. He has compromised his values all because he feels he needs to go above and beyond to keep a woman happy he feels he doesn't deserve. I've seen this dynamic play out so many times on my 30 years on this planet and it's really sad, I feel bad for bobby. Khalyla has also said and done some really, really ugly things sincerely. She may be attractive but she's really ugly on the inside. That's actually why I've seriously cut back on how much Tigerbelly I watch.
