I liked some parts like the community aspect like I could feel part of the crowd but I get that at concerts so it alright
I smoked for YEARS. I was a stereotypical stoner, smoking all day, everyday. It's not chemically addictive, but it's habit forming and psychologically addictive. I tried so many different things to try and break my addiction, but none of them worked, as I always relapsed and would fall back into the hole again of smoking consistently. The one and only thing that finally cured my addiction was surrendering my life to Christ. God was calling me and warned me, time and time again throughout my time of smoking, yet I ignored Him, believing that I knew better than my own Creator. By giving Him full control, He broke the chains that bound me. Through Him alone, I quit cold turkey and never looked back. He took my addiction the very minute I gave Him full control in my life. See, the thing is, He's always by our side, nudging us in the right direction, try to warn us and inform us of things we blind ourselves to, but until we finally recognize Him and how He's trying to move in our life, He can't work wonders in it. Our free will prevents us from having a relationship with Him, and leads us to run through life without direction because we fail to listen to Him. If you truly want to be free from the shackles of addiction and the things that bind you, bring it to God. Humble yourself before Him, lean on His understanding and not your own, and trust fully in Him. I pray this may help anyone that reads this. No matter where you're at now, God has a plan for a brighter future ahead, and He's already there waiting for us to arrive. It's up to us whether or not we choose to follow Him.
