    Thanks for this video man. Belt on my rear pulley used to be lying below the the edge but after i changed the oem drive face with a naraku highspeed drive face+0.7mm shim, i got the best takeoff, bogging was gone and belt now lies at the edge of the rear pulley. I can now climb up a steep hill from a stop with all power from my 70cc cylinder with ease. That's what I was wondering before with the 70cc kit and exhaust i have why i can't climb hills and just bogs.. Thankfully this solved the issue.

    I got 5,5gr in my 70cc zip. it holds his 8.600rpm and at 65 km/h it starts going up to 10.400rpm like it should be. Problem is That the setup starts getting power like 6.000 rpm, but original clutch comes at 4000 rpm. The belt is going inside right after. I can’t even put little harder springs in it, otherwise the belt is going to go inside before theclutch comes. The belt is moving inside like 5000 rpm. And if put lower rollers in it, it will not hold a too high rpm while acceleration... what can I do?

    Hey bro, awesome vid, really easy to understand, thank u and please make more vids so myself and other foreigners here, (thailand) can go fast like the locals do with the exact same bikes cause their bikes fly but they won't help foreigners to go as fast as their bikes do, very jealous people, and it's impossible to get what u want or get the performance parts needed from any shops even though most things needed r hanging on the walls but the Thai mechanics r either rude, stupid, jealous, don't know or don't want to help or even deal with foreigners, I have never messaged or followed anyone on u tube but i need help and hopefully u can help me with my bike, can u please keep showing us how to make the scooters faster, better, smoother and also can u talk about performance parts like, mad variators, pulleys, clutches and springs, full kits with all that's needed in the CVT, belts also engines, big bore kits as most bikes here r small 4 stroke 125cc and 150cc, I'm tired of paying and getting little to no extra power or performance, cant get what ii need, please help me, Thai's will do the minimum they can they just don't want to help and get go fast parts like all the local bikes have here, ii try to get the parts needed that can make the bike faster and mainly more FUN, thats what its all about, also suspension, front disk, braided lines, cause most small bikes here just have rear drum brakes, so how to make the front brake work the best possible way cause there is no help or even wanting to help foreiners here, even though i pay what they ask, i personally need to know about the 2015 Yamaha GT 125cc with the blucore engine but also small cc 4 stroke scooter engines, 125-and 150cc, that other friends of mine have and how to go as good as they can, if I could get the bike just to do power wheelies, it would leave a smile on my face everytime i ride my bike as they r the main source of transport here, I'm just so tired of the people here, they take ur money, but u get little to no results but their bikes fly and must b fully optioned but I have never seen a foreigners bike even half as fast as their bikes, mainly Thai kids with no money so they must have alot of little tricks for their bikes cause they can't buy anything to good with no money,, thank u for taking the time to read all of this👍

But the problem is that i shimmed it in the front and now when i put the variator cover on the kickstart mechanism scratches against the kickstart gear and it's loud because the front variator is so far out now. When i remove some shims the belt is too tight in the front and dips in the rear pulley and i get terrible take off but the cover fits... What do i do? Minarelli Vertical.

    I know this is an old video but I'm hoping someone can help. Son just passed his cbt. The aerox 50 does exactly what you explained at 5:12. It slow from 0-20mph then it just takes off? After taking the cover off and idling the scooter it looks like the belt is very loose. The rear clutch height of the belt is about 3mm in the plates and not sitting on top but its close enough I think? The front however on the variator side the belt as plenty of play in it /spinning and from watching ur video the shim is too long? But this was a malossi kit with only 1 shim, new rollers installed with a new air filter and clutch spring. Any advice would be great so I can get the scooter to pull off how it should & let me, dad worry less about my son pulling out of junctions.

    • @akabiscuitwaffle
      @akabiscuitwaffle Před 4 lety

      stock belt size since you're staying stock. What SR50 you have matters too. Since there's the 90's zuma minarelli engines, the 2000-2004 "Aprilia" designs (the variants of those years are mostly the same), and the 05 and later ones which just use the PGO/Vespa/Genuine/ETC design. There are technically more, but they're mostly just variants or updates of one of those 3 engines.
      The 2000-2004 DiTech ones have the tallest final drive, and the speedo reflects that showing up to over 100kph/70mph. Lower emission restriction for those years, and direct injection made them target a high compression, high torque design. As regular injectors cant fire fast enough to keep up with the doubled ignition of a 2 stroke, limting RPM to 10k-ish (maybe a tad higher) before the injector cant keep up. The piston is one of the largest 50cc pistons, and has insanely high porting and compression that keeps it to 50cc. The direct injection made it clean enough for those years to use a unrestricted stock expansion pipe. The stock power is insane given the size, hence the tallest gearing of any 50cc scooter to date. The 600$, one of a kind, fuel pump, goes out every 1,000miles/1,600km though. One of a kind in that it uses nearly 1/5th the power of other 120psi pumps, and that the bike has a very limited wattage allowance, means you cant stuff a different one in without killing the battery, or modifying the engine to charge faster.

    If you tighten the variator nut, wouldn’t you know truly the difference? You can’t tell the difference if nut is not tightened all the way. Because at the end of the day you need to tighten it to drive it.

      Hi there is no electronic needle and the cdi will not cause that. Do basic diagnostics clean the carb replace the plug.
