What I really like about you Stephen is your total honesty and the fact that you never glorify your criminal past. Other criminals I’ve seen talking about their past seem to glorify it; however, you do not. Your intellect and your kind nature comes though strongly. Enjoyed this interview very much.

The Monkey Puzzle Tree is full of honestly told, often painful memories, clever flash-forwards, flash-backs, dramatic twists & turns, the whole 9 yards. Struggled to put it down.
So much truth "good, the bad, and the ugly" I think you put it into perfect words. Coming up with only the streets as your mentor your home your life, you have to do what you have to do to survive. the concrete jungle takes no prisoners, its very sink or swim. I didnt get put through the prison system myself, but i went through the mental health system. And yeah, the least said the better about it. So true about that hatred though Stephen, it burns in you like a blowtorch. The hardest thing is getting past that hatred and letting it go. Much love Stephen.

Your last answer about strategic thought and being able to suss people fast was interesting. Two pluses from your jail time are that surviving that despair, you can now cope with a lot of lesser stuff because its never going to be as bad, the old " that which does not kill you makes you stronger", and be a rock for people who have trauma. And you can appreciate good things even more.
