My mama used to wash my hair in the kitchen when I was a child, she did it soo aggressively. Sure she was gettin my itches but she was diggin holes into my damn scalp.😭😂❤

Hey Destiny your flakes / dandruff may be eczema on the scalp. I always thought I had dandruff sometimes my scalp would be extremely itchy or flaky and then it wouldn't. By me being a natural girl I don't go to the hair salon because I don't trust nobody with my hair but I wanted a professional to cut my hair and she told me that I had eczema on my scalp and 90% of the time ppl confuse eczema with dandruff. Just wanted to give a helpful heads up, I know you don't like home remedies bc of the acv situation but I personally hot oil treatment my hair with grapeseed oil, teatree, peppermint, jojoba and avocado oil and sometimes I get a Aloe Vera plant to put on my scalp.

I have it on my scalp too and I don’t know how to tame the itch/burn. It burns once it feels dirty so I have to wash my hair every week regardless. It’s like dirt can’t be in my scalp at all sometimes.

Krissy Mosley have you tried peppermint oil? Neem oil is also good for eczema but it STINKS larddddd 😷

I love that you always do the “fun facts”. Many times when copying tutorials I’m disappointed with how long it takes me. I know vids are edited but sometimes I feel like it takes a lifetime. So having your real time to compare to keeps it real 😅

When you used the Silk-En (I think it's spelled right) shampoo it really put moisture in your hair and made your curls pop and the conditioner was just icing on the cake. Your hair is beautiful and healthy and I like the hair cut. She really did a good job.

Hey destiny, if your dandruff bothers your scalp, besides your sulfer 8 shampoo, you should try the Design Essentials Peppermint shampoo to give you a refreshing feeling after the dandruff. I loved using that on my clients in beauty school with dandruff. They loved it too. It really feels good on the scalp.
Am I the only one who does one pass and my hair be still kinky AF 😧😧have to do like 5 rounds before it even gets straight then after 30 mins it turns back kinky is there a specific flat iron to use to make it last longer 😨😨?
Maybe the heat level your using is too low?
Ellie ! This happens to me and I use the highest heat setting almost 500 degrees

You need to invest in a high quality flat iron. I'm the cheapest cheap person ever, but flat irons are one of the few areas that you cannot cheap on. It will give you lackluster results that result in more passes and the results dont last. I went from a 30 dollar Revlon flat iron to a 140 dollar Babybliss Nano Titanium AND THE DIFFERENCE IS HUGE. Like going from reverting after a few hour/days to Lasting for 3 weeks HUGE. Also, use a good serum to help against quick reversion. Chi silk infusion is great. Good luck!

I straightened my hair (I hadn't been relaxing for about a year and a half) and the chasing method I first saw you use when you did your aunt's hair a long while ago HELPED A LOT. I'd not seen that method until watching your videos and I didn't know how well it worked from the video, but then I could compare it in real time to how I used to do it when I was regularly relaxing my hair. I was shocked (but pleased), but the difference. Thanks for your help!

hey girlll, just a little tip is instead of using the comb attachment on your blow dryer i could do a chase with a denmen brush!! the comb attachment tends to be really rough on the hair and can lead to extra breakage! ikr scaryyy that’s just a little thought but if you feel the comb attachment works with blow drying your hair keep doing you🌸

I used to have really bad dandruff,but when I went to the dermatologist she recommended me a really good shampoo that really helped me,but your hair looks so good and you were just poppin 🤩🤩💖
Just a quick tip, instead of scratching your head while washing, just massage with your fingertips. If you scratch, it will irritate the scalp and make more dandruff.. Love your hair girl!!! Beautiful curls!!!

I used to have flakes just like you when I was transitioning as well as having a perm. But when I was fully natural for a while and kept my scalp and hair healthy they went away almost completely

Lixie-gaxha Gaxha don’t cry sweetie, its better for you not to straighten your hair. Curly hair is beautiful, you don’t need straight hair. Look up curly girl method on CZcams- that will help you deal with your curls. Also if you want to prevent pain when detangling, make sure to only ever comb your hair when its wet and has plenty of conditioner in it. Good luck and remember so many people want thick hair, you should be proud of it :)
