Ahh the good old days, when i didn’t need to worry about paying bills and working. I felt like I had all the time in the world!
Adulthood huh.
The best times were when we were kids with nothing to worry about but coming home to play Maplestory after school. Just couldn't wait to get home and get online to talk and adventure into the game with friends. The community and social aspect were what made the original Maplestory so successful. We didn't had to pay bills or understand what society was like growing up. Then as we reach to adulthood, we realize those innocent times as a kid will never come back, and Maplestory will never be the same as it were back then either. Growing up sucks, and becoming an adult sucks even more because we have to deal with fake and shitty people. After Nexon took over Maplestory, it became about profit and took all of those socialize and adventurous aspect away. It ruined the game, and people all eventually left and moved on and took the good memories with them.

@@deathbombs Nah, I think anything you do that you truly enjoy is not a waste of time. It can even be as simple as just cooking or knitting or whatever it may be. I wouldn't have met some of the best friends today if it weren't for Maplestory. The good memories are what makes it all worth it because it's part of our childhood, and we take that with us wherever we go today, regardless where we are in the world.

I did the exact same thing! Lvl 28 at that time I would go to the seahorses and tell myself "okay your not leaving until your level 30" of course I would travel somewhere else XD
Walking on foot with friend is the best thing ever
I used to level in aquarium 25-30 a few times :D it was actually a fun spot

I remember I was so proud of myself for getting from like level 20 to 26 on pinbooms and seahorses in the last map before korea town. What a simple time!
not to level up! but life were.
remember me and my brother exploring around aquarium when we get to this final path and notice the music started to sound different than b4, the scene and the bgm was stunning, we stay there hearing it until we ran out of pots lol
As a child, I was first amazed by the movement in water when I first arrived in this Aqua area, I climb that ladder in the background picture every time to see the view above the ocean, it was awesome, even though it was a small boat, and as I can remember, there was really nothing much on it, still, traveling across the continents, explore, and start new adventures in MapleStory was a fascinating and memorable experience!
I enjoyed bein on the boat and seeing that view! But I had to go down eventually cause there was nothing to do up there.
I remember getting so excited about swimming that I told everyone on my buddy list. I didn't even know it was possible until I went down that well.
These were the good times
When you can just stay home and relax
But now theres work,theres bills
Theres time to take care of children when you used to be one

Thr composer is a genius. Makes you feel like you're underwater/at an aquarium.
Aqua road is forever the place I went to after learning about it by exploring the orbis tower, I also found that snow town then tried going back up but couldn't so kept going down and hit water ...man I got so excited and confused when I hit the water and all the monsters in these areas are my favorites then discovering the caves with the bioluminesanse stuff and having ink spit at me then the exploding eel huts, it's still the first place I go as soon as I can whenever I pick maplestory back up.
I just remember continuing down Aqua Road, getting to this place and thinking "Why are all the monsters here so easy?" From what I remember getting down Orbis tower was twice as difficult as handling anything that lived where this music was playing.
I remember my sister and I would travel together through this area to get to Ludibrium and she would always be asking me “are you keeping up?” because at the time I was super bad with using the swimming controls. The memories

I have no nostalgic connection to this game, ok. Never played it, probably never will. Not a huge gamer and all that.
BUT,
I found this song many years ago, somewhere, and it hasn't left me. Oddly enough, it takes me back to simpler times in my life, even if I spent none of that time playing Maplestory.
Oh my… I remember back in the day when I first joined maple (when I was 9 I think?) there’s this super nice high lv (I think lv70) guy that brought me from the top of Orbis tower to the bottom, reached the crossroad between Aqua Road’s and El Nath’s portal and asked me “hey, you prefer swimming or sliding?”. I still remembered saying swimming and got brought to Aquarium and had so much fun swimming around, while he cleared the path with his skills for me ❤.
I still remember this moment vividly and it’s been 14 years.

Yall went a different way then me, I just went to orbis and all the way down the orbis tower past the ice area and eventually hit the full bottom of the orbis tower.
Yes it was awesome, made me want to keep exploring maplestory. endless worlds and all uniquely crafted. Miss those days 💔

I remembered back when Aquarium and El Nath were scary because you got minus HP for being under the water or being too cold. I was too poor to buy HP portions or other things to not having - HP :) Fun time.

Remember going to Orbis to change my job for the first time, while doing that i explore beyond Orbis. Going from aqua road straight up to Ludibrium and im stunned by the city, its all TOY 🧸
Who else remembers this by Survive the Disasters? I wish they kept this instead of the high tempo crap people call "awesome".

actually vyriss {the creator} had to remove all of the old songs because roblox had a new copyright policy, and threatend to delete her account, games, and everything if she didnt remove the songs, and whats ironic about this is that roblox endorsed other many copyright driven games, even ones like brick bronze

I remember my main was as aran and you had to go to that boat for your wolf mount upgrade. The quest requires 40m mesos. I made my character in like 2010 i believe. Its still in my quest log haha.
Back in the day, under the sea was the place to be. Everyone was down there having squid parties, and the CB's went down the left side to blow millions on goby fish houses. Apparently people also had viking parties, but you never heard about them.
The Nightmare Vikig parties existed in ludi before aqua road came out but I was a lv 40 scrub doing ludi pq at the time

The first ever chair item for MS. You do the quest on that boat above. Before, you had to find chairs that's part of the map to sit on.
@@JackIsNotInTheBox the first ever chair you got in ms was the one from when they still did the tutorial island. You had to go find materials of boards and bolts in boxes and take them to someone to make the chair. That's the true first chair.

I remember back in like 2009 or so when i went through here for the first time with a friend and I went ahead up to that boat in this image and my friend took forever to find me and when he eventually found me he said "why the hell would they put a boat here?"
