The goal should be to make an artificial Sun… by combining 9 campfires into *heat* , Then combine 9 *heat* , you get the picture. eventually you get *the SUN* and then you look up at the sky and place it down(or I guess up) and then everything returns to normal, the normal Minecraft credits roll… and everything is fine in the end… (The ender dragon died from the sudden cold)
This feels scary.. I don’t know, it just feels isolated and dystopian. I kinda like the vibe.

the heat from an oven should slow the freezing, iglos/caves/shelter should also *slow* or temporarily stop it from going down or up. although i can see how that'd be very difficult to code
amazing work as always! i just said what i think would make the experience better and or easier
The furnace heating part is actually fairly simple, and is in Tough As Nails(the go-to temperature mod) with about the same function

New Strays: Buff, Elemental, Weak, Faster, Slower, TNT Stray
Replacement for Creeper: Glacier Stalker (texture is blue ice) If it attacks you, your temperature bar go to the lowest point
Replacement for Rabbit: Preserved Thing (passive) if you kill it, your health go’s down by 2 hearts (drops raw rabbit) (rare)
Replacement for Enderman: Icyman (texture is blue ice too) basically like Enderman, but it is a frost mob like the stray

To be fair, caves have better insulation from the temperature of the outside world, so it is somewhat realistic that bats can still spawn.

This reminds me a lot of the solar apocalypse mod (abandoned in 1.6.4 to my knowledge) which made the surface begin to burn over the course of a few days.
the first day is normal, and you have to run around and try to get water, mobs, wood, saplings, crops, etc because by the third day anything on the surface burns down, including grass blocks and the oceans evaporating, and all mobs get burnt to a crisp. even dropped items burn up.
(I'm sure the relation is just coincidence because it's a fun idea with a simple premise, but it's fun seeing history repeat itself)

How did Polar Bears and snow foxes die when they are adapted to these conditions? Also the snow golems and snowmen
@@OneGreenSeaTurtle well snow golems/snowmen dont spawn naturally. you have to make 2 blocks of snow towered, then put a pumpkin.
@@OneGreenSeaTurtle because their food sources are all gone, and therefore, they starve to death. Resorting to cannibalism isn't exactly a fullproof plan, as they will still die out eventually. Evolving to be able to survive off of the snow/dirt/whatever is left and nothing else is not exactly an option, as that takes generations and generations to evolve even a tiny bit. They don't have enough time for that.

World difficulty for me, i always wanted ever present endless tundra biome
Temperature in minecraft outside of biomes doesnt mean anything, unless you need Ice and Snow.
Now we just need to slow the freezing process so Hardcore and 1 life can be a thing

Since strays drop bones, if you manage to kill a couple, you could bonemeal the ground to get more grass for seeds instead of solely relying on the few that spawn naturally
