Testing Appliances With Renogy 100Ah LifePo4 & 1000 Watt Inverter

Whether traveling in an RV or preparing for an emergency, a backup power system is essential. In this video, I walk through using a Renogy LifePo4 Smart Battery with a Renogy 1000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter.
I tested a few appliances that might be useful in an emergency grid-down scenario, including a space heater and a hot plate. While more than 1000 watts is needed for preparedness purposes, it is a good start. To run most household appliances, you would need between 1500 and 2000 watts.
I will be building a DIY solar power generator with this battery and inverter, but before I do, I wanted to test everything out. During my testing, everything worked flawlessly, and the Renogy products were quality and reliable.

Nice one Dale. I know of a lot of the full time traveler peeps seem to mainly use the Renergy solar panels, but they pair them with the Battle Born battery. Yes, pricey, but when you are talking using the system for your daily because of living off grid… haven’t heard of any complaints yet.
