- Watch the full episode: • Vienna Vienna's historic center is encircled by a road called the Ringstrasse. In the 1860s, Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria had Vienna's medieval walls torn down and replaced with this grand boulevard. Today, the three-mile loop is lined with many of Vienna's top sights; hop aboard one of the trams that traverse the Ringstrasse for a DIY, budget tour of the city. I went on a 20 day roadtrip to Europe in 2019 and Austria blew my mind. What a beautiful country ❤😍 can't wait to go back!
paradise for skiers and snowboarders!
I've travelled much of Europe and it has a lot of beautiful places and regions, but even so, Austria is special. It's just fair they don't have any seaside, because then it would have been too much :)

You are 100 percent right.
If I didn't fear flying I would so be there.

Austria, is on my list to visit some day 🤗😎🖤
Thanks a lot.
0:48 fiquei curiosa para andar nesse transporte, perfeito! Kk😁🤩🇧🇷
Amazing, i visited this city years ago! 💜
Just a small comment on the Ring tram line 1. It still exists, but it does not complete a full circle anymore. One can either complete the ring by changing lines once, or what I would recommend, take the Line D instead which also runs on parts of the ring road, the most epic part that is. It is also very scenic on the adjacent stretches where it departs from the ring and on top of it all, if you arrive by train at the main station, the line D connects directly to the station's back entrance, too.
I miss studying in Vienna!
Our city has some similar trams but no subways yet.🤗
great entrance, beautiful video again in Europe (not Afria, Asia, ...) wonderful
Wow!!!!
Hello, my new friend.
It's a great video.
I'm honored to be your friend on a great channel.
Have a nice day.
👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙👌
The 1 tram no longer makes a full loop. You have to change to the 2 to complete the journey and then back to the 1 depending on where you started. I presume this has been updated in the books, but just wanted to mention here.
Ilove
Hello I'm a new subscribe in your video,,I'm in the philippines,,
I want to see vienna
Where can I find the whole video?
Nice piture
I want to go
wonder if depiction of ringstrasse comes from an earlier reason, seems to fit to their local history.
Magnificent city, real imperial capital!
🙋🔔🖕🙋
As always on top 🔥
Are there sports fans here?)
Pls do Belgrade
I thought the voice sounded younger, hey younger Rick! 🧐🤔✨🌟🌞🗿
It's an older video. The tram line #1 entcircles no longer the whole Ringstraße.
As beautiful as the Ringstrasse is I have to wonder what was demolished to make it and what that would look like today.
greeting from mexico city rick

I remember the girl on the scooter. This is a very old episode NOT even close to the date of the upload.
Fun fact: I'm going to Vienna tomorrow but I'm afraid I won't have time to go sightseeing.
Hello Sandra how are you doing and hope your family are doing great?
上面的電應該消失或許在地下了。
Is the language like germany?
German. Sounds different, rather softer, but you would get along with knowledge of Hochdeutsch. (But don't try to understand the Wienerisch dialect :)
@@rrolf71 how's about the vocabulary/tenses/grammar? Is Poland-german family of languages?
@@earvinmohammad5593 Nope, 2 different families: Slavic and, well, Germanic. More complex grammar than English but much simpler than Polish. German and English share vocabulary roots, Slavic has separated much earlier.
@@rrolf71 wow thanks mate for the information 👍
