- Friends! Welcome to the brand new 7 days to die series where I play 100 days of the game over the course of 10, 10 day episodes.
This will be episode 4 where we find our footing in the new revamped world of 7 days to die. In this episode, I finally make a huge turn around for myself by changing my build and finding/crafting a heap of ammo.

If you place a Landclaim Block you'll be able to pick up workstations so you can place the forge better.

Hey iSyzen i really love your content on 7 Days and Ark, but in this series you are cutting 10 hours of footage down to 20 minutes, showing us only 1/30 of your gameplay. Sure some parts are not that interesting contentwise but i´d like to see you progress more and how you make your way through insane difficulty :)
If I do anything longer than that the final video ends up being way too long. I’ve been doing it like this for a while which makes the final video right around 2-3 hours. Any longer and people just loose interest is what I’ve noticed

These videos need to be a little longer. It feels like you're playing 20 minute days.
It’s purposed towards a final video. If I make them longer the final video will be 5+ hours long.

you can place more than 1 land claim block up to 3 to move that forge.

I watched the whole 22 minutes of it. It is amazing how well you are doing given the circustances.

u can pickup this forge xD also try to change ur armor . yeah its heavy but debuffs on it are nasty . try helmet/armor/shoes from assassin + preacher gloves for more zombie dmg :D Alsooo i love ur gampelays it makes me smile a lot ;D

@@isyzenpreecher gloves are super meta rn, on lvl 6 they give you like 60% bonus dmg to undead? Something like that and its just crazy, its worth more than any setbonus. Also miner set will make you use even less stamina and give more drops, so you should Def get it for mining. Keep up the series i really wanna see you thrive in the apocalypse 😊
@@isyzen also to pickup forge it must be completly empty . no resources and no tools in it .. also if u want to try sneaky gameplay in POI u can try thoose assassin + preacher build . it also goes well with machete soo u have everything in one skill tree ;d
my friend, you need to max out "Big & Fast" under the Strength Attribute. it will help so much with swinging the Sledgehammer. Skull Crusher + Big & Fast go hand in hand together.
Even with big and fast sledges are pretty ass on insane difficulty.

I feel like sledges are a bit of a borrowed power, cause sure you dont need many points in streanght to one shot A zombie, but if there are multiple its just too slow. Maxed spear still feels stronger to me
@@ashwinclendenin9671 i do notice that now on 1.0. it was better on A21. kinda sad.. i am starting another playthrough using knife only. seems better than sledge and club. maybe need to equip the armour that is relevant to the sledge/club.
22:00 Land claim blocks which you can craft from the start using stone allows you to do a couple of things within the radius you placed it:
1. You will be able to pick up and move workstations inside the radius.
2. It increase block durability against zombies meaning zombies have a harder time breaking blocks inside the radius.(Edit this might only work against players in pvp.)
3.if placed inside a poi It prevents the sleeper zombies from respawning.
By default you can have 3 LCBs active at once and they can either be far apart or overlapping.
Effects do not stack and you can click on a land claim block to show the radius it is effective. In previous alphas you spawn with one in your inventory but they removed that for this alpha.
Also you pick up workstations inside your land claim area by looking your workstations pressing and hold the interact key then selecting pick up.

@@isyzen I have sometimes read that the hardness may only effect enemy players trying to attack your base. Don't know how true that is since the game doesn't say.

I'm glad to see the strength working out for you! I would still suggest the shotgun perks, but that's just my personal bias. The shotgun ammo is soooo cheap to craft and shotguns are absolute beasts in the mid game.

Knuckles are cool because if you bust a zombie in the jaw with your fist it knocks their teeth out and they cannot infect you anymore.

@@mechanicer3105unless hazmat. Those can still infect you because of the suits. Otherwise yes this was true in prior alphas. Dont see why this would change in 1.0.
Hey iSyzen man love all your work. I think you should play grounded again for another 100 days because there is alot more content in the game and a bunch more bosses . Just an idea though

Doing a knuckles only run for 7 days to die would be interesting to see.
It'll take a bit of time per, but whenever possible do bulk crafting bc it uses 20% less resources for things like bullets and powder so you'll make 100 for the price of 80.
Cheesing infested clears is a great source for ammo and other supplies, you don't need to even clear the POI. Getting the end loot may be more viable than doing quests.
Could definitely go for hour long vids in this format. 20 minutes to cover 10 days, feels like a slide show. Not trying to complain, just saying I'd like to see more.
It’s tough because I make a final 100 days compiled video with all of these. If I did 1 hour videos the final video would be 10 hours long 😂
You can Pick up the forge and anything by placing a land claim block remove everything from the forge hold E and Pick up 😊,and so You have a skill called pack mule You can unlock all of your inventory
Honestly, you need to get Daring Adventurer to max, you get better rewards from completing missions and you get to choose two items instead of one.

Hold E on any workbench/forge/Chem station to get the option to pick it up. Has to be empty though
You might wanna put some points in "Big and Fast" for faster attacking with the sledge :)

Oh yea ammo farming feels needed unless you're running infested clears. That final chest drops a ton, but you also use a ton to earn it. I think I made like 2000ish 9mm and 1200ish 762 before the second horde. But I spend my nights mining every night lol
He’s running max loot anyways. You can tell by his drops. It’s double loot. Wouldn’t bother with infested on his settings
I don't know if it is feasible in 1.0, but I like to get to POIs in my version and build a simple storage to plop stuff into and sort it when I have completely searched the area. Is that possible in 1.0?

Pain tolerance would be a huge help as well to stop you getting stunned all the time when they hit you

if the forge is empty,pick it up and move it,hold E for the menu,if it has stuff in it i think you loose it if you move it
This base failure is why I use jawoodle base builds. Never failed me yet

One reason why this play through may have seemed a lot more difficult is due to you being on 300% xp which pushed you go level 40 and a gave you way higher game stage without having good enough armor and weapons. The game can slip out right under your feet when xp is boosted. The difficult enemies spawn based on game stage.

400xp per regular zombie is 100% and ive watched 1200+perk bonus show up in the corner. Maybe I am missing something though
@@ashwinclendenin9671if you kill multiple zombies in a row xp stacs so maybe u saw that? Also a feral getting his head destroyed gives a bunch of extra xp.
Jesus fucking christ i feel like im getting gaslit, however I did rewatch several parts of the video and they consistently show 300% xp. I play 7 days so id like to say im fairly familiar with stuff

Personally insane difficulty doesnt even feel rewarding anymore, its almost more of a punishment for trying to play

you kinda made a mistake when u took the fergettin elixir, you should’ve maxxed fortitude instead of strength. Because knuckles are 3x better than the sledges IMO

You wasting ammo on weak zombies that you can just melee and then getting cornered by ferals when you have no ammo lol.
Also sledgehammer sucks because of the attack speed, definitely not an improvement from spears

@isyzen well actually now that I think about when I'm not as tired I can understand that sledge are good at stunning and do high damage which is good but surely when the zombies are constantly running at you wouldn't have enough stamina?

Maybe you have a lot of subs that enjoy watching you suffer, but for me it's too much. Hard to watch 1/2 episode of complaining and shouting before dying. Much rather see a simple review of the differences new to 1.0 while you do other than fight zombies all the Time. If you did not try it at least a few days , maybe that would have been better. If you had tested and decided to do it anyway.....wow. Also aren't land claim blocks still a thing so you can pick up your stations/forges/stuff?
