Thank you sir, my ford agency told me i need an air filter yesterday , i was weird out cus i just changed it 1 month ago so i refuse to pay 30 dollars for a filter change, so i went to an auto part store got it myself and came home and i just changed it myself watching this video, BTW my filter was not even dirty, they lied but since i had a new one i just changed it to practice for next time, it was easy

Very good information, I didn't know where the cabin air filter was on the vehicle. Good to know.

Great video. Thanks! Can’t understand how people struggle with this using this method. Top to bottom the job took my daughter and I 7 minutes. 15 to do both our cars. On added tip is to use a hemostat to grab the bungee and leave it attached to the cord while you do the job. No fishing for the cable after you slide the glove back in.

I like how you don't show how to remove the cover from the actual filter housing.

Hopefully you change your oil sooner than 45,000 miles as you suggested in your monologue

I never suggested to change your oil at 45,000 miles. I was talking about the cabin air filter.

This job will be a fight to the finish . The White clips are hard as Hell to get out and impossible to get back in .
Then there’s the filter cover, good luck removing that and of course all is plastic.
Want more frustration, try and get to fuse panel under the dash .

It can be a pain but if your handy it won’t be much of a problem to deal with.

Safety Recall Notice 24S02 / NHTSA Recall 24V031
      Heads up!
Did Ford send you a letter on this?
Ford is recalling 1,889,110 Explorer SUVs from the 2011 to 2019 model years because of concerns that an exterior trim piece on the A-pillar that flanks the windshield may detach. If the trim falls off in transit, it could create a road hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of a crash
