I review the warrior QR5Pro as a formality so you look for something a little more exciting. In the end there are far better low kick sticks available on the market.
My son uses this stick. He loves it. Quick, hard, accurate snapshot. It also seems durable. He tried this after breaking multiple hyperlites, ft5 pros, etc.

He plays at the highest level for his age, and this is the first stick he doesn't have anything to complain about. The Agent is garbage. His teammates have probably gone through a total of 10 sticks in only 2 months.

I just got my 2 pack of Tarasenko’s 85 flex Trigger 7 Pros and they fire rockets. I was really surprised because it’s way better than my Trigger 6 Pro. I’m going to order some more fasho.
They seem to go back to those deliciously obnoxious designs like the macdaddy and dolomite and i'm loving it ! Too bad the stick isn't great. :( Thanks for the reviews man !
Wonder if you went up in flex if that would change anything. Unsure if this stick model is based off qrl covert but that was one of my favourite sticks. We are a similar build and I used to 87 flex I believe.
I doubt it flex doesn’t really change the performance of a stick from 75-85 in terms of its features. If it performs usually will at 75 or 85. Unsure if this is similar build or not to the stick you mentioned
Yes, but seems that the next gens of sticks are being released longer for all brands but I don’t think 66 is a retail thing, what stick you normally run? 66 seems tall to me unless you talking blade as well?

And if you do get one maybe get an M28 instead of a W28 if its available because I'd be interested to hear your opinion on max blade.

What a bummer! I have to mention the fact that this stick uses UD carbon fibre in the shaft and a 25k weave on the blade and costs 360$. Bauer released league sticks with UD carbon fibre shafts and 15k carbon on the blade for 160$ I think they only weigh like 15 grams more…I don’t know how this is top of the line for warrior? I like the graphics but guess I’ll avoid this one.
Probably explains the performance aspect being about mid range. I’m not carbon guru I just compare and with agent and trigger on same ice this was not in that league

ughhhh...this sucks to hear. covert line sticks have such amazing puck feel and shaft dims make it so comfortable in my hands. but they are wet noodles. i like my LX pro, but they dont load as easy at the jetspeed.

The problem is with my rheumatoid arthritis I can’t use sticks more than 400 grams because of my wrists. Usually that means top end now. Back in the day I used all sorts of stuff
Well the qr5 is not a good example So unsure which one you have but it’s a pretty average stick. I’m low kickers every other low kick stick on the market is better
I heard Warrior has moved retail stick production from mexico to china... I think that might be part of why the stick is lacking... When the DX released it was good, and was made in Mexico- then when they had the sl (silver) and the yellow version, which were both made in China something just felt off about them. Hopefully they can figure out their production issues. All their prostocks are still made in mexico so I wonder how a prostock qr5 would compare to the retail one.

So the QR5 Pro is only 63 inches long? I normally cut my sticks to about 64.5 off of a 66 inch stick

I used full length Bauer sticks. Or I cut ccms about 2 inches. My sticks are 75 for low kick 85 for mid kicks, I’m 5’9 205 pounds

There is some spray grip you can pick up. Guitar slinger hockey posted a solution on his channel awhile back

Warrior has gone up and down in its sticks over the years. More than any brand I think
I got a prostock hockey sticks stick and it's very good it's with low kick, 70 flex and p71, the blade is a p88 with a more curved toe like p28.
That’s what I would do over this as well
I got one in a 50 flex, and it felt like a 30
