She has the record for longest 1st place stance, six weeks. This is like my high school dance team. They won state 6 years in a row from 206-2011 (recent years) and came in 2nd going for their 7th in 2012. Kristi had 1st week 1-6 and came in 2nd week 7. My school's dance team however has won 19 times since 1977 and has never placed lower than 2nd since either, like Kristi. They've had a 5 year run, two 6 years, and a 7 year at one time.

I love Kristi...always have. She's a delight, and I'm really happy she won. She deserved it. Also, she's cute as hell in this dance.

This was when I knew that Kristi and Mark were capable of taking it all the way. I just wasn't sure if America would give them the win.
