Worst moment in the series for me was when Lexie died. Mark just laid there, next to here, unable to do anything. Fucked me up real good.

all of the couples that were supposed to last forever but ALL ruined by shonda except for THREE.......
Izzie+Denny (one died)
Jo+Alex (one left the other for his ex resulting in them getting divorced)
Meredith+Derek (one had an affair and died)
Lexie+Mark (both died in/after a plane crash)
Arizona+Callie (one lost their leg in a plane crash, had a miscarriage and also had an affair and bc of all that they got divorced... BUT just like Japril, idrk if this couple really did end after they divorced bc they moved to ny together to raise the kid they had before the divorce, but again... just like japril, theyre just doing it for the kid and coparenting bc its easier for them. that doesn't necessarily mean that they're still in love with eachother.)
April+Jackson ( had a miscarriage and they felt like they couldn't do it anymore resulting in them getting divorced BUT idrk if this couple really did end after the divorce, bc ig they reconciled and mosted to boston together for the kid that they had, but tbh that doesn't rlly mean they're acc together, they're just doing it for the kid and coparenting bc its easier for them. that doesn't necessarily mean that they're still in love with eachother.)
Owen+Cristina ( one wanted kids and one didn't. the one that didn't, got pregnant & had an abortion against the other's wishes, which obv took a huge role in why they ended up getting divorced.... but also the fact that the partner that wanted to keep the baby had an affair because of it.... and ofc after all of that, one left & they got divorced. tbh idrk abt them, they were probs never gonna work out but i shipped them sm and they went through sm together xd)
