We’re back for 2023 and with so much planned across the country for the year, It's time to do a FULL INDEPTH REVIEW of the MITSALLOY TRAY & CANOPY on the big 79! The Tray and Canopy setup has been on the 79 for just over a year now and it really has transformed how I go away on trips and just camping in general. Has the setup performed as well as I had hoped? Have I had any issues with the Canopy? Would I change anything with the setup? What’s on the agenda for Jetfish Offroad in 2023?

Nice and tidy rig. I spent the best years of my life growing up in Exmouth during the '80s/90s. Done my mechanical apprenticeship at the old Ampol servo, I think it's Tyre Power now...good times.

Just watch your review. How much insulation did you end up using?
Great setup, I'm not a fan of slide out fridges, they are too heavy with the drop mechanism, and take up too much room when pulled out, definitely go for a stand-up fridge and a pull out pantry is a must.
That's a really nice setup man, I do have one question for you.
How do you find the 1500 canopy, my wife and I are looking at getting a tray and canopy on our MN Triton but at this stage it's only a 1000mm canopy and partial tray.
Though we don't get out as much as we'd like, I don't want to be regretting getting the smaller canopy.

I have a Companion Lithium Battery powered one with a Gas Cylinder that screws into the back of it. Works great 👍
