To protect the flat bottom, you shd keep the hot cooker on a small vessel stand. The aim is to prevent direct contact with the floor or the kitchen Platform to provide air circulation . Otherwise, the hot bottom touches the cold surface of the cooking platform and the metal will contract suddenly causing the unevenness.

Hi Sushmita...two things...1. Clean the valve after every use 2. Rubber, wash it by hand and change it after 6 months

I'm disappointed with this coocker and yes it doesn't create pressure and leeaks vaporated water all the time .. either we don't know how to close .. that's why seen your review and still disappointed

@@VEGFOODZ apke coocker ka rubber bhi smell krta hai kya ? Till now I have cooked 5 times, very bad taste and also when I simply put water and heated then i observe the black dust partical of rubber in the bottom.
