My son and I visited the museum last year during a trip to Nashville and meeting Joe was truly one of the highlights of our trip. He took time to visit and share what was going on with the museum. He invited us to come back to the museum before we flew home, which we of course did. Such a kind, genuine, friendly gentleman. We were honored to have the opportunity to meet him. He was one of a kind. Our sincere condolences to the family.

But the interviews are an important part of his legacy. Hate that he is gone. He will never be forgotten we all can guarantee that.

What Joe accomplished with the MHoF&M was necessary, and it was Joe Chambers who made it a reality. While he will certainly be missed by those who knew him personally and held him dear, he will also be missed by those of us who only know him through his unselfish contributions. Joe has brought joy, smiles, laughter, tears, appreciation, and music to many thousands of the rest of us as well. I salute you, Joe Chambers, and once again, I thank you. His death was announced by his channel not too long after his passing. There was a lull, and then some of the old interviews were still carried. It was sort of like NPR's (National Public Radio) presentation a few years ago of their "Car Talk" where the "Click & Clack Brothers," Tom and Ray Magliozzi were still aired after Tom died. It seems like reruns of the show continued for at least a year (or more) after its last production, so many were unaware of Tom's death.

    What a life, Magnificent!
When the end is near and the Lord is calling you home.
Is there no greater peace of mind then knowing you contributed to the improvement of the Human Experience.
Joe, did it for me and countless others.
I was awakened to the tremandous contributions made by the musicians who performed alongside the greatest entertainers!
The back stories, how the art was crafted. Historical accounts of recording sessions, concerts etc.
Not acknowledged enough is Joe's brilliant interview style. Inquisitive questions that capture the listeners curiosity bone.
In closing Joe's greatest gift was his ability to recognize when to stop talking and listen. In every interview he'd ask a question then sit back and enjoy the story.
    Never interrupting a artist.
His Legacy will be on display every day for all the world to enjoy.

Thank you for your very kind words Deborah…. What you wrote is true… My dad, Joe, was exactly the same on camera as he was in real life. He never planned to do interviews, but it just needed to happen in order to get to museum going and he really enjoyed doing them with his friends… he also never thought they would end up on CZcams but it was alot of fun for him to share here too. Thank you for supporting the channel.
I hope you can visit them museum sometime.
