You must give it up for the Ibo in all aspects of life. They are intelligent, resourceful and determined. Like everybody else they have their flaws, the biggest is political naivety. They vote and act as a single block in a multicultural, multi ethnic and multi religious society. Once they lose they lose everything. Dont protest, but if it works and you are left out from the benefits of the protest dont cry marginalization.

Nigerian people, learn with us Kenyans where we boycotted against our politicians especially the tribalistic ones. In Kenya we know that the moment you say this politicians are from your tribe, you give them the power to divide you. However you say one Kenya (but in this case one Nigeria) tribe less, no religion and partyless, you deny them the power to divide you. You loose your fear, they loose their power so don't accept to be divided by the politicians and rogue religious leaders.

The truth is, no reasonable Igbo should join in any protest in the current situation of Nigeria.
    1. Igbos never voted for Tinubu. So no need for protesting against him.
    2. The most important reason is the fact that the North think they are the kingmakers. Any government that doesn't favour them, they will remove the government through protest. They did it with Jonathan with the help of "prominent" people from the West. They succeeded in Removing Jonathan. Now, Tinubu's government is not favouring anyone, the north in particular and they want to assume the role of kingmakers in the name of protest. Tinubu should complete at least his first term and let the everyone including the Northerners learn their lessons. Maybe we will vote wisely and better next time. I don't support any protest at this stage especially because it serves the Northern role of deciding who stays as president or who doesn't. We have to learn the hard way .

How can things work with this kind of betrayal? This is the major difference between Kenya and Nigeria. So, are these people are not experiencing the hardships in Nigeria? This is why these politicians continue to treat us like inanimate things. If we are able to feel pain, we will fight in unity against the establishment.
