Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh tells Pat Kenny about his audition to become a commentator for Gaelic games.
As a student at the teacher training college in Drumcondra, Dublin he headed up to Croke Park for his test, which was on a hurling match, a game he had never even seen.
Trials were being held to find a commentator for the occasional match “as Gaeilge”.
