This song was BEAST when it came out and STILL IS!!!!
Vanilla Ice was discovered at a club on MLK Blvd in Dallas by DJ earthquake, who is the DJ in this video. This is what he said: "âI noticed this white guy dancing in the crowd. City Lights (the club) was all Black, so at first I was like, âWhat does he think heâs doing?â He could dance his ass off, and weâd never seen a white guy do that. The women was loving it and getting all up on him like, âOooh, look at him.â And he was like, âIâm not finna stop. Iâm gonna make yâall love me.ââ
"Ice Ice Baby" is a hip hop song by American rapper Vanilla Ice, and DJ Earthquake.[3][4] It was based on the bassline of "Under Pressure" by British rock band Queen and British singer David Bowie, who did not receive songwriting credit or royalties until after it had become a hit.
In later interviews, Van Winkle readily admitted he sampled the song and claimed his 1990 statement was a joke; others, however, suggested he had been serious.[15][16] After representatives for Queen and Bowie threatened a copyright infringement suit against him, the matter was settled out of court, with Van Winkle being required to pay financial recompense to the original artists.[17] Bowie and all members of Queen were also given songwriting credit for the sample.[15] "Ice Ice Baby" is written in the key of D minor.
Gotta love the late "oh shit that's a white boy" reveal
Great reaction..you should look into ASMR with that smooth voice đ
Notice in these 80s and 90s rap videos and other groups. People can really dance. Now they just put out fancy cars and girls grinding on things and talking about money. Not that much talent really
So true lol smh
Gotta react to U Can't Touch This now
Songs go hand in hand
I want to see more of ur video game library
A lot of whites acted black and dressed in hip hop gear back then. they used to call them wiggers. that generation of whites was part of the hip hop generation Gen X the 42- 55 year olds now and kissed their butts đ©. they grew up on gangsta rap and old school hip hop. thats just one of the reasons why its weird for blacks from that generation to see any kind of racial problems millennials have now. it was complete opposite back then. as you can see whites loved them some black ppl they partied together and were friends race wasnt a thing like now. but black people from that generation carried themselves way different than millennials of color now. they were looked up to by every race. now that theyre older some are faking like theyre racistđ. all of those 40 50 year old karens now partied to rap and hip hop when they were teens and 20s
I admire your resourcefulness. Making the best of what you have. You will go very far in life. Never give up because you're doubting yourself, you got what it takes. đ
How sweetâŠ! Thank you! đđŸđđđ€
People say he stole the intro from "under pressure" a song done by Queen...thats why the "kind of cover"
I find it hilarious that this generation thinks a rapper named "VANILLA ICE" is a black guy đđđđ
m,ust be an extra long study hall ?

you do love to hear yourself talk stopping the song so freaking often
The opening Guitar Riff created by John Deacon from Queen stolen by Vanilla Ice from a Queen and David Bowie song called Under Pressure. Queen and Bowie sued the hell out of Vaniila

Thought there would be a reaction at the end but nup.
Na younginâŠits not that the sons too long, your generations hop hop is too short. In the 80âs and 90âs hip hop pretty much always had a minimum of 3 verses and it was better that way. Todays generation is just lazyâŠlazy with the music and lazy with the pen
Too much talkin
you talk too much, listen and you might learn something
