Hi Taylor, maybe I've missed it, but I was wondering how to make a white strobe effect which overrules a cue stack (flash button) - Thank you!
hey taylor... i agree that this is a better way to strobe than using the beam channel only. but there's a limitation on this method. you can't strobe faster as the dmx output frame rate of the ma2 allows you to do. wich is, as far as i remember, slow but stable 30hz, high enough for a common strobe effect but not fast enough to make them really flickering...
however, good video!
I agree. But for most cases this is the easiest and fastest way to make a strobe effect that will react the same across your entire rig. For faster strobes you would have to go into your shutter tab for each fixture type and manually adjust each group. However I have noticed a weird delay when doing it that way. Have you experienced this yourself?

I'm having an issue : when I select my effect nothing is happening in my layout view. I don't have the preview" of my strobe effect....
Edit: after asking on reddit, I just needed to click on "Blind" and it worked !
