I’ve got 5 Pygmy’s just getting started.. and I want a Pyrenees dog.. I found one 8 weeks old any advice on how I should train the dog to the goats? I’m real nervous

For your first dog I would get a dog no younger than six months old. One that’s been working with its parents and learning the job. Pups need the older dogs to train them and correct their inappropriate behaviors. Once you have a young dog that knows its job and is working well I would bring in a second younger puppy for your dog to train. In my opinion one dog is never enough.

@@pygmyharborfarm that’s what I was thinking. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find an older one… I have other dogs that act kinda dumb and are useless for my goats… & I’m worried if I get a Pyrenees it’ll just want to play and act like my other dogs 😞
