She's not known as a songwriter in fact she started her career and shot up to stardom because of her unique voice, vocal skills and artistry, singing covers of songs made popular by famous singers and making the song her own while doing justice to the original. Singing covers is what her fans love and admire her for and what she did in this cover is so much better and way more artistic than the original that is why it was heavily recommended by her them. Songwriting involves a different talent and skillset altogether and not all songwriters can sing or are great singers.

Bakit Ba is not Gigi's. Roselle Nava was the original singer. Written with Jose Larry Hermoso. Huling Lapit is the better song though and an original Gigi Vibes song.

He's saying he's kind of losing interest on Gigi bc she has no original songs. He said hes also tired from work, been bz lately. Gigi Vibes did release an all original album a year ago but they're you barely hear them singing these songs or even promoting them album. It's complicated, has something to do with Gigi being signed by Rise Artists/ABS-CBN, but they only signed her & not the band. So they're not allowed to perform them on their channel or in the hundreds of gigs they've been doing in the past several months. At least that's what I heard from some of her fans. I hear people sometimes people comment & say, oh these artist doesn't write their own stuff etc. Meanwhile some of the most popular mainstream artists don't write their own songs, like Whitney, Celine, etc, & nobody complains about that. Anyway, I heard Gigi Vibes is planning to fo a 2nd album, so hopefully they will have more control of the music this time around. It all just depends on the contracts that they sign. Fingers crossed 🤞
