This is my Vietnamese take on a classic Thai Tom Yum Soup that will rock your world! Get an incredible lemongrass kick with every slurp and bite! This is a super easy recipe but make sure to never let the soup come to a full boil or it'll taste bitter. Also, remember to only add seafood just before eating.
1.5 qt water or stock of your choice
1 tbsp Thai Tom Yum Paste (my favorite paste on Amazon here- amzn.to/3c1Rs8n )
1/2 tsp Tamarind Powder or substitute with lime. (add more to your liking) Find my favorite powder on Amazon Here- amzn.to/397HEI3
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar (adjust to your liking)
2 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsp minced lemongrass
mushrooms
tomatoes (optional)
korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru is optional)
seafood (I used frozen)
Thai Chili (optional)
