The devil is busy always seeking to devour and destroy. I’m weak. My faith is being tested. But no matter what I will continue to trust in Jesus even though it is difficult at this time. I won’t allow the devil to win. Please pray for me. Since covid I fell on a terrible hardship, like many others. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m now waitressing but not making nearly enough to get by. I’m a single mom, my husband is with God. My children are autistic and non verbal, I’m overwhelmed because they demand so much from me. I recently started homeschooling them because they were having so many issues in school. I’m tired of struggling every month. I’m struggling to afford the tools I need to homeschool my children. But I trust in you Jesus. Even as I struggle providing groceries for my family. To be honest I feel like a failure. I get so much hate on this app simply because I ask for prayers. Prayers are ALL I NEED! I’m crying out to you Lord Jesus! Please hear my prayers.
Angela, you write this same post 'word by word' in every religious channel I am subscribed to. I have read the same exact request over n over again in at least 14 different channels... Surely some small detail in your situation would have changed? I don't know whether you're a fraud but it strikes me strange that your letter remains the same. One thing is for sure, God sees our motivations. If you were asking exclusively for prayer why do you provide your pay pal account and cash app?

Im going through Chuck Missler's study on Job, I'm taking notes and these particular insights on Job's 3 "friends" I find so helpful: Eliphaz the Eloquent- bases his arguments on personal observations and human experiences- Job suffers because he sinned.
Bildad the Brutal- arguments based on human tradition-
Job is a hypocrite
Zophar the Zealous: arguments based on human merit vs orthodox dogma: "Job is a wicked man"
And God Himself said they were wrong!

Thank you for the daily readings. I’m a little embarrassed to ask this question but there’s much I don’t understand, why Pharos heart was hardened. So much I believed through my life has come into question, so I feel I need to ask if I don’t fully understand. Thank you for all you do for the Lord.
In the text, we discover that God is causing Pharaoh to become hardened against Him so that God has occasion to continue to show His power among His own people and among the Egyptians. Had Pharaoh agreed with Moses at the beginning, God would not have had to outdo Pharaoh's magicians. As it was, though, God left the magicians in the dust, so to speak. As Pharaoh continued to be hardened, God's power was made known to all the world (Romans 9:17).
@@carolberubee Thank you so much. I’ve often thought that, but I wasn’t sure. I grew up in the Pentecostal beliefs and much was preached but not much was explained and I struggled to understand. I had two uncles who were preachers but they always viewed me as a kid so when I asked a question I was mostly quoted a scripture which sometimes confused me even more, but as I’ve aged and read more and pray for understanding, I’m understanding more but also find myself still struggling with what I thought I knew. That bit from Luke 13 about dumping manure on the fig tree until it bore fruit made me laugh. That really is how it feels in real life sometimes. I'm a gardener, so I get the symbolism, but sometimes the imagery is just too good. 😁

He could have but it didn't say so. He told Moses to pick up his staff and throw dust in the air and such.

I never understood that God hardened the heart of Pharao and than punished him.
That's a hard one, alright.
I think it's a translation problem.
If it means "strengthened," then Pharaoh would have had incresaed courage to do what he really wanted to do.
Also, historically, pharaohs were revered as gods. This also probably added to his arrogance. I think this comes out in Pharaoh's statement "who is the LORD that I should listen to Him"
Good question. Get a good study Bible with footnotes. God is sovereign and His ways aren’t our ways.

Pharaoh was evil in the first place. Replay this and listen carefully.

Every denomination has passages they tend to ignore.
As long as it's not the basic facts of the Gospel, they still get to be a part of the body of Christ.

If Jesus did not come to take 1 jot or tittle away from the LAW, and Paul taught the commandments, why does Christianity look so far from the Laws of God? Why have we changed God's LAWS and appointed TIMES? Why do we not REPENT and turn back TOWARDS GOD. Why do we follow traditions of men like the Pharisees, while we ignore the LAW OF GOD like they did??!!! Are we killing JESUS, the WORD of God? Are we hardening our hearts to His Laws? Is His WORD hidden in our hearts so we might NOT SIN against Him???
I agree with you about the commandments. I also believe we should keep the Holy days as Jesus also did. Our holidays are not Holy.
