Great food for thought professor! We also believe that Anaximander touches upon the monotheist approach of the ONE as the source of the universe!! 🙂

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Anaximander isn’t a household name, but he’s a fascinating figure to study… one of my favorites in ancient philosophy

Not just scientists… were the Presocrstics like Anaximander moving toward monotheism?

Hydrogen is also the first element to emerge in the universe as the creative energy came to rest a bit. Stars DO pierce the envelope of critical mass required for fusion. Ontological phenomena are fun.

I wonder if that is what krishnamurti and bohm were calling the "ground of being"? First mover. Unity. Atman beyond Atman. Outside of existence and within all existence etc.
I've heard of the Thales water thing but didn't REALLY think about it until you just explained it. It's like a Hellenistic pagan spiritual path!

That’s great! Since Krishnamurti has similar things to say and his thought draws upon a tradition from the Axial Age (Thales’ time), the parallel is more than coincidental

What a great speaker and what a great video , new fan , thanks 🙏 im studying the true meaning(s) of “infinity” and search for Apeiron and found this. Was super informative!
Also deduced following , if “water” was the “ultimate reality molecule” then all stars would be Ice instead of fire ? Since stars are the “fathers” of planets and moons and are the water holders ?
12:36 o word sounds like he also detected the holographic principle minutely
Omg the final explanation can hint towards evidence probably to creation and destruction of universes? His brain 🧠 floated outside the universe without him even knowing exactly what’s its full real nature is.

methaphysis have to do with the being problem.
surely we come across with the idea of movement, if we have in mind that there are infinite forms of moving any object, and geometry figures, then we can think, man, movement in some way is boundless.

Many times in this video, the 'axial age' is mentioned. I know this refers to the apparent growth, or origin, of some of the deepest ideas and schools of thought, throughout the planet. As someone who is just learning about Philosophy (partly through this excellent channel), may I ask others whether there is any consensus as to why this age occurred?
Is it generally seen as something which is purely coincidence, or is it thought that there may be more to this surge in intellectual/spiritual development?
