It did a good job. I was actually impressed that it didn't bog down in the thicker weeds.
I followed you step by step. At no point does the blade actually start. when I push the button and pull the saftey all that happens is I can use the LED screen. When your blade starts you only have a photo of your grass. It doesnt' show how you actually started the mower. There are no other oline tutorials, and no customer service number that comes with the lawn mower.
I remember having the same issue as you are talking about. If I remember right, you have to make sure the handle is fully extended and locked into place. Otherwise the blades will not engage. When you try that, let me know if that did not do it. I can message the guy who has this one because he had the same issue with it not engaging. He figured it out but I can't remember for sure if it was the handle issue that I think I remember it being or if it was something else. Anyway check that and let me know and I'll see if I can help you out.
