Arabic Letter School App Project

The Arabic Letter School app project is the first of its kind, providing a free educational service to Muslim parents across the globe!
You can help finish developing the app and roll it out to every corner of the world. The Arabic Letter School Project is aimed towards assisting Muslim parents in teaching their little children the Arabic language and stimulate in them a love for the Quran and Islam.
An innovative and beneficial idea
Ten years ago, Olive Study Tree was born. It was our passion to start a school in London that provided a safe and fun learning environment for Muslims children across the city. Although we started small, it didn’t take long for the project to take off. Now, many years on, by the grace of Allah, we have nearly 700 pupils across four branches with a remarkable team of 70+ staff members.
We have seen our kids go on to thrive as young Muslims living in this ever-changing world. But we wanted to do more. More to help them grow their love for Islam and the Quran.
In this day and age, getting children to spend more time on learning activities and self-development can be difficult. Despite your best efforts, at times children may lack focus. Many become disinterested in learning and spend their time watching TV or playing video games online.
The fact that children these days are very acute to the use of technology like iPads and smartphones inspired us to start thinking about creating resources that are more digital. From this, the Arabic Letter School App was born.
A unique learning resource for Muslim parents
The Arabic Letter School app comes as a much-needed resource to help Muslim parents guide the future of their children.
We aimed to create a digital learning resource that would motivate and inspire children to learn and at the same instil in them a love of the Quran.
The Arabic Letter School App will help children as young as three years old learn the Arabic alphabet and the names of animals and objects in Arabic phonics.
• The app is fun, interactive and easy to use for kids.
• It's reward-based to keep children motivated.
• The app comes with full animations that are funny and entertaining to children.
• The UI is smooth, and its beautiful graphics and colours keep children engaged for longer.
• The app’s sound effects that are easy to understand and follow.

Who is Tahera Akther (Project Creator)
Founder of Olive Tree Study, Tahera Akther is committed to providing children with a safe and fun learning environment. After attaining her Ijazah in Tajweed from Syria, Tahera has devoted the last 15 years to helping children learn the Arabic language and grow their love for the Quran.
