Lovesong of Tahiti

In April 2020 Max Raabe joined up with his pianist Christoph Israel and musicians of the Palast Orchester to record a concert for the #daheimdabei series in the empty hall of Berlin´s Tempodrom. From that video here is Walter Jurmann´s "Lovesong from Tahiti" - including a charming whistling duet!
#daheimdabei was produced in 2020 during the Corona crisis for Magenta TV in cooperation with Rolling Stone.

I've been sad lately,,,and when I saw that you posted this...I had to hear you right away in order to feel besser. My cat, Thrall..(your number one feline fan) came running into the bedroom...jumped up onto the bed(the lap top is next to the bed.)....to listen. Of course, he wanted between me and the lap top.. He knows your voice. We love you !

@@jojojojo2529 no..he ran in as Max introduced the song. I play Max Raabe & Palaster Ochestra when there is stressful situations to calm down. We moved across the country (3 days drive) last month..and I played Max Raabe music in the car...and the cat was fine the whole way. The whistling actually made his ears go back(it bothered him). I must add, that the fellows whistling is amazing.
