i feel like a fear of baked beans is a real phobia....
SAME i literally can’t be in the same room as baked beans. It’s just understood that if there’s baked beans in the sink, I will simply refuse to do them or I’ll cry and vomit. I don’t even know why??? I’ve never even tried them. but now that I’m a vegetarian, baked beans show up in EVERY. SINGLE. RECIPE. It’s inescapable.

One of my friends wasn’t necessarily afraid of beans, but she was *revolted* by the thought of them. One time, on a Girl Scout campout, we had a meal with beans in it and my scout leader thought that it would be a good idea to try and force her to eat them (???). She spent the next 15 minutes crying and then, when she finally did eat a couple to get the leader off her back, she threw up in the bathroom. We were probably about 14 yrs old

If you want to eat them but the thought of the hairs squicks you out, get them frozen. They're at the peak of freshness and even when thawed (I eat them frozen mixed with lemon yogurt) there's no way you'd see hairs.
Ok this is so random but my all time favourite dessert has to be what my older sister makes on very special occasions, layer of brownie, layer of cheesecake filling stuff, layer of raspberry cream. It’s perfect

I have the same problem that James has with eating an excessive amount of something. Mine is seaweed snack. It’s dried seaweed squares I get from Costco and I’ve been eating 2-3 packs a day for the last few months. Everyone I’ve tried sharing with has said it was the worst thing they’ve ever ate but I love it so much. I know this isn’t the point of this podcast but it was nice to see someone else unhealthily addicted to a specific food that’s not common.

All jokes aside though, after hearing the podcast and how stressful it can be to really deliver content on time, I feel like I get it a lot better. Because as a subscriber who’s never dealt with any problems like that it can be hard to understand why it sometimes takes longer until a video is out. Like, I love Kurtis‘ content so much, I’m like : please just literally post anything. I don’t care about the quality, I just want to watch something. Anything.
But of course if CZcams is your job you want the stuff that you put out to be good and to reach your standards. I get that now. Thanks :)

James and Kurtis's friendship is so genuine and nice, I love these podcasts. I usually watch the E-Boys stuff and I love their podcasts too but this is so nice and laid back.
There's a kind of intense energy with the e-boys that can be a bit much occasionally. It's fun, but this was more comfortable to watch.
This podcast is like 10% Kurtis and 90% James

Bryce Hall is deeply insecure and has to establish some kind of dominance to assert himself and feel like he’s “gaining respect”. Grasping at literally anything that’ll make him feel like he “dominates” a certain category; “party animal”, “tough guy”, “alpha”, etc. he’s has no identity of his own so he clings onto these other portrayals of “personality traits”. But it’s toxic.
