did you upgrade the transmission and motor mounts?
is that a dog box?
@@will1307 He would have to (or should have) upgraded to at least poly trans mounts as required by all solid mounted shifters. If not then he's risking catastrophic failure of the shifter/transmission. This is well known across all of these types of shifters.

I’m more of a fan of the oem look. However their are shifters available that let me use my stock shift knob to make it look oem

russianpegs they aren't drag cars, it's made to give more confidence in shifting on a road course

stock "slop" is fixed with a shifter refresh.
hey man loved the review. im thinking about getting this in my f80 but the only thing im concerned about is how tall it is. I feel like it would be akward shifting with ur arm up that high when ur used to reaching down to shift you kno. but maybe u get used to it? or it doesnt feel as tall as it looks? lol
Its designed for racing where you have both hands on the wheel. It's quicker to visually see and move your hand to the shifter since it's closer to the steering wheel height. If you never use both hands than your not driving your car hard enough to need this, not to be rude.

Well it’s chassis mounted first off. Second, it self centers; so let’s say shifting from 1st to 2nd, you just push straight forward instead of forward and to the right
