    Just to update with some info: I mentioned that I suspected the Stiletto Pro charged faster than the Wedge XT, that is correct. The Stiletto Pro will do a full charge in 2hrs where as the Wedge XT take a whopping 6hrs to get a full charge. That’s kind of ridiculous imho…even the original Wedge only took 3hrs to get a full charge…

    I am carrying the Nitecore EDC 27 for more than a year, and I didn’t rotate it out often because the EDC 27 just the perfect flat and slim flashlight for me for both tactical and daily use. ❤

      I’m definitely going to check out the EDC27 at some point

    As I expected there isn't a good alternative to the surefire stiletto yet. The drawbacks of these are too many for me. I read someone suggesting the nitecore edc27; I personally don't recommend it: the switch is way easier to activate than these one and the lockout mode can easily be activated while in your pocket. I tried it first-hand and after 2 days I went back to my lumintop fw3t. You could try a lumintop flashlight although they are a little bit more "bougie" than the surefire

      Thanks for all the info! It seems like the surefire stiletto pro is still the perfect combination of performance and easy to use interface. If something else ever comes along I’ll switch to it but as of now, the stiletto pro reigns supreme

      Streamlight has a better run time and puts out the same output while being cheaper

    • @justified_edc
      @justified_edc  Před 4 měsíci

      @@llamacebu216 better runtime and same output compared to what? The stiletto pro? Because the wedge XT has half the output that the stiletto pro does and the regular edge has the same output, but where the stiletto pro can run at 1000 lumens for an hour, the full size wedge only runs 1000 lumens in a 35 second burst mode and then drops in output.

      @@llamacebu216 it also takes 3x as long to charge the XT than it does the stiletto pro

    hey my brotha , hope you are well there , great vid n content there , 1000% cool , but i would like to know if you have any tactical flashlights around 2500 to 4000 lumens with lockout on them n would you trade/swap/barter possibly ? , thanks bro > tom !

      Hey man, I don't know of ay lights with that high of a lumen output. Even the super high output Modite or Cloud Defensive lights aren't that high, they just have super high candela.

      @@ryanjordan7268 thats actually not one I was familiar with but I just looked it up and it looks pretty impressive! I've had some other nitecore products that were decent so I might have to give the EDC27 a try

    Flashlights are round for as long as I can remember. They make them flat and now people think there is a left hand right hand thing it's classic. Next you will ask for a left handed cigarette.. lol.

      If something is asymmetric, and has a feature specifically designed to give extra grip/texture but is only useful in one hand, I’d say that warrants me pointing out in a review that it favors a certain hand over another.

    You are comparing 80 dollar light to a 265 dollar light

    • @justified_edc
      @justified_edc  Před měsícem +2

      Correct, a fact which I bring up multiple times through out this video if you actually watch it. The reason I compare the two isn’t because they are similar price points, but because they are similar form factors. Also, many people requested I compare the two.
