Bamboozled is still on my list, I recommend for anyone who needs to see how white media conditions everything

Whoa! WTF. That opening, following the Do The Right Thing clip, took me by surprise! Hearing Siskel and Ebert do a religion rant, replete with F bombs...Well, it kind of blew my mind. Thoroughly enjoyed it, though. I'm guessing Mr. Lee would get a kick out of it, too. Ty for the vid. 👍

The intros for this series on this YT channel have been brilliant.
After Siskel and Ebert's rant, should have had Sam's character screaming "Time out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
That interview at the end is everything! My favorite is “He Got Game” but I enjoy most of his films. No director,(outside of Kubrick), bats 1,000 the point is to take risks.
His best movie is Summer of Sam, I don't know what you were talking about, but you need to check yourself

Just finished and thought the video was very entertaining. I'm racking my brain for directors that made movies throughout the 80s and 90s that will also have Siskel, Ebert, etc review footage. Paul Thomas Anderson would probably work and be super interesting. I'm sure a Clint Eastwood compilation might show up in the future? Oh man, a John Waters would be awesome too, if there's enough reviews out there. Ohhh, Todd Solondz? Kathryn Bigalow? Anyways, I dig the channel 👍

I have a problem enjoying Mo Better Blues myself,
at least in relation to all the other Lee movies on either side of it (Do the Right Thing / Malcolm X / Crooklyn etc)
Spike's catalog overall is a generous C-
I haven't seen much of it, but he does seem kind of wont to make a movie that just says f you to people, over and over again.
