  • My run of the 24 Hours of Appalachia on Feb 3-4 2024 from Seneca Rock to Point Pleasant, WV. I drove my 2006 Jeep LJ Rubicon on 35" KM3. It was a hell of a drive.

    1:16:49 Leg stretching time again.
1:20:00 Are we there yet? I’m getting tired and slowed down a lot.

1:30:48 Can’t multitask with the music and missed a turn.
1:32:00 The deep end of the mud hole.
1:41:00 The first hint of dawn as the sky is a midnight purple.
    1:43:23 That’s a creek, not a road.

What happened when everyone was turning around? Were you supposed to stay left instead of going right up the hill?

Yeah we were supposed to go left. The gpx file was not detailed enough to show the difference. And once a few people went up the hill, the wrong trail was wore down and everyone else followed.
