Will be looking at the options available, thought about it several times and now having more information time to take action.
Thanks for the video 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you hso much for this. I was just talking to a friend about this
Very good imfo. I don't know of others who has touched on this subject. Very good editing job also nephew 😊 👍💯
Very beneficial information on how to attain a retirement visa. I will definitely utilize this to submit my documentation. Thanks
This was an excellent video on your part. Thumbs up and thank you for the valuable information.
Next video where to meet the most bonita muchachas in the D.R.
You can meet them all over the island...they are not in one specific place.
Thanks for the video. I dream of retiring abroad. I have spoken to my wife, who is Dominican, about retiring in the DR and she doesn't sound interested at all. I'm hoping she changes how she feels about it when I retire in 9 years.
Same boat as you buddy, my wife aint having it! AND we have plenty of family there! I think we need to take them for extended periods of time to different cities to give them a feel of it. Good luck!
@@elclasico4411 I think you are right. Thanks! We have not been there since 1999. We were at an all-inclusive resort called La Hamaca in Boca Chica and we loved it. We went to Costa Rica this year and were planning on going to Mexico next year but she told me she would like to go to DR more than anywhere. DR it is. Looking forward to that chinola.
@@REGGIE_BXNY Nice! When you go back if you can take her to Las Terrenas in Samana and or Bayahibe down by La Romana, smaller quieter cities not over populated, excellent for retirement. Good luck and God bless!
Hi Norberis, thanks for this video. This was very helpful information. I am planning to retire in DR with my wife within the next 5 years. We bought our retirement condo there about a year ago and have slowly started winding our life down for when we eventually move. I definitely did not know that property transfer taxes are waived when you purchase with a retirement visa (or as a retiree). Considering how much we paid for taxes when we bought our condo, perhaps it may have been a better idea for us to buy at the time we moved. In any event, there are always pros and cons to every decision made, so I can't worry about that now. Thanks nonetheless for always providing us with informative and useful information. Keep up the good work!
You're welcome. Keep in mind giving that your were planning to retire in 5 years that property you about a year ago would not be same price in 5 years so you probably came out better.🤗❤️🇩🇴
Hi Norberis! This was great info. I’m not anywhere near retirement so I need a plan B so I can move there 😂 Thank you!
Im a retiree and thinking of moving to D.R. Im looking forward to a video about the different neighborhoods in Santo Domingo. Thanks and keep up the good work.
I have several ride around videos on the neighborhoods here. Go check my Dominican Culture playlist.
Thank you very much Sis, I'm going to retire in DR because it's a beautiful place to live 🥰
Nice video. My first time in the DR and ready to retire there in about 10 years. Could it be possible to bring on your show a retired military person and ask them how he did it. Thanks . Keep up the good work.
Good morning. I’ve seen several other military retirees on other channels and groups discuss their experiences. I was shocked to learn about the Vet Clinics in DR and knowing the hospitals accept Tricare. ❤❤❤❤
Norberis, Thank you for sharing this information. Very helpful for us. My Domunican wife and I just returned to Texas from DR and are completing a purchase for property to be used in the future for a retirement project.
One question, does the proof of income have to be from a form of pension or can it come from personal income such as rentals? And I assume there is no age restriction. If you know the answer, please share. If not, I'll look it up. Thanks again.
Based on the research I've done , I haven't seen anything on age restrictions. And yes you can show rental income as proof.
Norberis, what about a visa that simply relies on one's liquid cash ir investment assets?? How would you compare the visa process with a place like Barbados or Jamaica?
I don't know what visa requirements are like in thise countries. Here I think the minimum investment is like $250k
Ese es mi sueño Norbi, retirarme para la Republica pero mi esposa no esta muy convencida! 😂 Tengo que mostrar le Samana!
Hola Buenos dias tienes que mostrarle todo lo que ella puede tener mejor al mudarse.
How do you get a certification of single status? I'm confused about this one.
Since i worked for myself i don't get a retirement check, does my savings count for a retirement visa? Also does my cars pay taxes when they arrive? Thanks in advance Norberis.
I'd look into DR's citizenship by investment. I work for myself too. That is what I am looking into.
You have to show proof of a monthly income for a source. The taxes are reduced on cars shipped with the retirement visa
✍️🏼🏝🇩🇴...That was a very helpful, factual & comprehensive good info to know, plus some good "inside" advice to get thru the red-tape!📑🪪...🦈👕👀Super cool shirt, although many of your fans already knew that!😉 ...⚠️🦋👍🏻
How much did it cost for the notary, translation, and apostille for your husband? I was looking at prices and it was so expensive
I put the prices in the video I did on the residency process. He doesn't have a retirement visa.
With this amount, they are cheaper countries, that you will qualify for the retirement visa, you can go to more developed countries, and they don't ask for this amount either, i might as well remain where i'm in!
What certification is out there to prove your single?
There is no certification you can create a document and have notarized your single status.
I was saying it as a joke. Like how do you prove you’re single lol. Just came across your content and enjoy it. So much better than others CZcams.
Sounds like a tedious process Norberis. Even though after all that; the benefits at the end looks great. I hope it’s simpler for those of us who is married to a Dominican Republic citizen. Once again you explain everything so well. Well done sis.
Thank you.
