Tita's design in the sky arc is perfect. It is a cute outfit but it also serves a purpose. LOTS of pockets for her to put her tools in. The googles makes sense too since she is probably doing some welding here and there.
You make a good point. Most archetypal characters in JRPGs are shamelessly designed to cater to various fetishes. It's rare to find a loli character that is actually more than just fetish fodder. Trails in the Sky is just brilliant all around. It shows that games don't necessarily need to be 100% original to be good, while also showing off its own aspects of originality. It's a standard JRPG. But it's one that is actually built with care. Though, I'm not sure how well the original Japanese version stands up to the English translation. The localization work in Trails in the Sky is so good that it inspired me to actually look into it as a potential career path. I've yet to play the other arcs since I'm waiting for the official releases of the arcs between Sky and Cold Steel. But overall I get the impression that they aren't nearly as good. They seem like they lost a lot of the unique charm that made Sky so good. For me, part of that is also the introduction of voice acting. There are some games that work well with voicing and others that don't. Since voice acting conveys a level of realism, the less realistic the plot and characters are, the sillier it sounds. Anyways, that's a bit of a digression. The most important thing is that Tita is an awesome character ^_^
@@Markeeyon It's still somewhat practical, design-wise. Her official art has her carrying a tool kit, as well as a waist pouch, as well as a wrench and goggles hanging around her neck. She also grew up. Tastes change, but she herself is still the same underlying person she was in the Sky games, more or less. But sure, say "Cold Steel" as if it's a bad thing.

(@楽しいTakihiro) oh? Meh, I kinda don't like older version of her, she used to have great crafts and stuff but I guess that's because she's just a background character now..
I dunno man. I think being the first person to get your own custom power loader armor to fight in, complete with machine guns, grenades, rocket boosters, and a ramming arm is pretty cool. To each their own though. I think they're all cool in their own way.
(@@psycholuigiman) Eh, I guess story wise she was okay, but actual combat wise she felt weaker than her younger version which sucked because I really loved to use her in every battle back in Sky.
@@BakedBanana It's possible. After all, you can't have too many ultra powerful secondary characters or you risk outshining the main cast. Her roles in battle are also completely different between the two series, so it feels a tad unfair to compare them directly. That's just me though. I don't wanna make it seem like I'm arguing with you. Just talking.

Yo this really helps me get in the groove of doing my assignments. I don't know what I'd do without these game OSTs lol. Love Falcom especcially.
Love this track. Great setting for Zeiss and the setup to meet Tita. And... it sounds so 2004...
May very well be my favorite town track of all time, it's just one of the most chill BGMs I've ever heard. Thanks for the upload!
One of my favourite tracks out of all Trails games
