The crazy and scary part of these stories is how everyone felt that something was wrong and they go to the Dr and the doctors don’t find anything smh 🙏🏽prayers to you and may you and us all be ok because sometimes our medical industry lets us down!
Yes. In 2018 I suddenly could.not.breathe! went to ER, tests and CT scan said nothing was wrong. Over 2 years later and after seeing 9 specialist that couldn’t find anything. I saw my 3rd cardiologist , he ask how I was doing, I said I’m going to die if someone doesn’t find out why I can not breathe . He did an MRI the following day, and finally, after 2 years of misery, he found my spleen was embedded into my left lung! What an ordeal! I’m alive but I’m home bound at age 70. When I was SO VERY Active before this happened. B/c the spleen had embedded itself into my lung for so long it damaged my lung. Before they got me to surgery, my diaphragm ripped more, causing my entire stomach to go into my chest. ( Never stop getting 2nd 3rd 4th or 10 opinions, until you are correctly diagnosed.
This is so true everything always comes back normal but you feel so awful we need to be our own advocate ❤❤❤

Maybe spend 31 years becoming a better docotr than us all???? Of course, you will no longer be able to speak like, “smh.” Whatever that is. You have to speak as an eecuTed person with multiple master’s degrees and a doctorate. No water in the classroom, at least 11 years after high school, kicked out if you are late to a class….dismissed. Goodbye. Not allowed to work taking out $600,000 in loans bc legally you cannot work in medical school. It is a full time job to learn everything. Don’t let bias creep in. But it will. 100 hour weeks, no eating drinking peeing….enjoy. And then come back and tell us how many mistakes you made. I’m sure you’ve never heard of the phrase, “When you hear hoof prints…..” but you will subscribe to it nonetheless. Starting out as a doctor after 14 years in medicine led me to suicide attempts 3x, wrecked my fertility and I have no chances of my own dream. Quit medicine bc it was literally killing me. But I gave up my life, my one dream, $24,000k of IVF, for others to look at one case and call all doctors BS. You clearly know 0 about stomach or colon cancer and how it is nestled into everybtinf else and had already spread, and very had to see, even w contrast. I’m sure you understand, to be making such a comment. Otherwise, kindly refrain. You are not a professional.

My brother died of stomach cancer in 2002, aged 38. He had been unwell for about 18 months. His illness was misdiagnosed multiple times over a period of a year - yet it was very obvious that he was unwell. Stomach cancer was not considered a possibility given his age ('too young'). He finally phoned a surgeon out of desperation - the next day he underwent an exploratory procedure. A tumor the size of a grapefruit was found - stage 4. He died three months from the day of diagnosis. My parents died in 2019, still grieving. RIP Brent.
It’s the most difficult thing to lose your loved ones, I totally understand that feeling, I lost my father in 2022 because of Covid, still grieving…

When my son was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour aged 13, that’s exactly what I said to him. Don’t be scared of the word cancer, it’s just a name for a type of illness and it doesn’t mean you won’t get better. And there are many other illnesses that are a lot worse than cancer with much worse outcomes. And yes, people don’t get it, when he has his 6 monthly MRI scans, they say oh he looks fine, he’s doing really well, but we know, the scan will show recurrence before any symptoms will. Like you, we are very direct and just get on with it. We also lost my children’s dad to cancer last year. I don’t worry about things we can’t control, and I make sure we don’t waste our days worrying, as you have to make the most of the days when you don’t have anything to worry about. We never really know if and when that could change. He is nearly 16 now and lives with many disabilities (result of 10 hours of brain surgery), but he is adapting well. He has been through so many horrendous treatments, radiotherapy to the brain and spine, 9 months of chemo. We are just glad he is alive, and he intends not to waste it and make sure he leads a full and exciting life 💛
I commend you for you and your son’s braveness. It’s difficult for me not to worry as my mom passed from pancreas cancer, my maternal grandmother colon cancer and my maternal aunt ovarian cancer. My PCP suggested I get genetic testing for gene mutations that put women at a higher risk of getting specifically breast or ovarian cancer. So I tested positive for BRCA1 gene mutation. I elected to get bilateral mastectomies and a hysterectomy. I worry literally everyday if I will get cancer since it’s prevalent in my family. Can you provide advice how not to worry? It’s very difficult for me.
@@Elizabeth-1970it’s a matter of seeing it through a more logical perspective. We can’t control what happens in the future. I can’t control my son’s future, and worrying won’t change that. But if his cancer recurs, and if he doesn’t have a long life, we would have wasted the time when he was well and everything was okay. So we have to make the most of every single day that things are okay. Worrying controls your life and stops you living it. Once you stop worrying, you feel free. But you can only do that when you accept you can’t control the future. Given 1 in 2 people will now get cancer in their lifetime, half the population could go through life worrying about it. I hope you find some peace and can find away to just enjoy being alive each day 💛

@Elizabeth-1970 You had your breasts removed, and I'm guessing you had a complete hysterectomy with ovaries removed? I think you have a very good chance of avoiding cancer because of your surgeries. Maybe get some therapy to help you see you've done all you can and you are probably worrying yourself over nothing. I would imagine you are a bit traumatized after all the surgery. Most people would be! Take care. 💕

I was stage 4 colon cancer with braf mutation. I only had 1% surviving rate. 4 years later I am NED for 3 years. I am in the best shape of my life. Both kids in college. My daughter is applying for med school. She is interested in oncology and gastro. Best luck to you. I am Czech living in the US. Lived in Australia in my past.

My mom died and had stage 4 colon cancer. She was not an optimist at all and very bitter so she did not want a stoma but finally accepted it and had chemo, but she was not happy in life and believed dying was better. She always had her colonoscopies but she lived red meat and processed food. She used tobacco and they said they never saw her cancer polyp because it was up under her rip cage and could only have been seen on virtual colonoscopy which they do not do unless they suspect cancer because of the cost. She had no symptoms until she was stage 4 and began bleeding. She only lived 8 months. I do not think the tobacco had anything to do with her cancer but the kind of diet and all her stress that she created staying in an unhappy marriage and having 4 kids she did not want.

I've been diagnosed with breastcancer 3 times. 2005, 2008 and 2016. In 2016 it had spread to my bones and it was stage 4.
They said it was impossible to cure, and it couldn't even shrink. Treatment was all about buying me more time (and I had 3 children, one was newborn, 5 days old when I got the call (the second time around)).
But it DID shrink. And for several years now, it looks complete "dead"/totally inactive.
I guess they'll never declare me cancerfree. But they can't really say that I still got cancer either... 🙂 And I'm off medicins, since there is nothing to treat...
I've met many people, heard many stories. What I've personally learned is that cancer isn't a "black or white" thing. There's almost always room for hope.

I ate about 20 ecological bitter apricot kernels per day in long periods for several years. They contain a toxic substance (amygdalin) that is believed to be able to turn active in your body when it gets in contact with fast splitting cells (like cancer cells). You have to START SLOWLY, with like 2 kernels per day and then add another 2 every week until you get to where you want to be.
I also drank 2-3 tablespoones of turmeric paste. If you Google "turmeric paste recipe" you'll find a recipe from "Foolproof Living" that sounds more or less identical to the one I used.
I resolved the paste in ALMOST boiling oatmilk. You should go for the ecological turmeric, and NOT let it boil (in that recipe they unfortunately tell you to boil the paste...) since some of the most valuable substances can die.
The third thing I did, and the only thing I still do is fasting.
I stick to Dr Mosleys "5:2 diet". Look it up! I really believe it makes a difference (I do believe in the bitter kernels and turmeric aswell). There's a substance in our bodies called IGF 1. And low levels has a positive effect on both cancer, diabetes and heart disease. You can push it way down with the 5:2 diet! There is research that shows that 5:2 lowers IGF 1. And IGF 1 has been known for quite some time to have a close connection to the diseases that comes with ageing, like diabetes, cancer and heart disease...
Another thing I'm just looking in to is "Turkey tail". It's a muchroom and oncologists in Sweden are researching it right now for possibly having a positive effect on cancer.
This is what I've been doing "on my own". Plus trying to eat well; as little sugar and dairy as possible (oat products instead), ecological food/greens when possible, cut the junk food etc, go for walks regularly and so on. I also believe that stress is an enemy to anyone with cancer.
And I've had chemo, surgeries and eventually antibody hormones (I don't know if that's the correct way to say it in English... 🤔).

I was diagnosed in December 22 stage 4 MBC, chemo completed on Tamoxifen and received results on Monday csncer markers are well within normal ranges and PET scan reflect reduction / improvements in all spots. Keep up the fight warriors.

This happens to two many people. I am going through this now, and so tired of being brushed off by doctors. If your bloods are ok and a scan is ok then you're fine, even though you feel rotten, you are very weak, in pain and losing weight fast, nobody listens. I hope you keep on getting stronger and you stay well.
My mom goes through stage 4 of gastric cancer as well. It has spread to her liver, and she is going through chemo right now. At first, I was terrified about chemotherapy. However, after 11 heavy chemo sessions, I would like to admit that having a hopeful spirit is the key element. don't think about the process, just focus on healing and improving your strength. God help all of us ❤️

My aunt has stage 4 stomach cancer. She is following a strict diet and certain vitamins and her mass has shrunk from 5,000 to 3,000. She has not done any chemo or radiation as of yet but God is doing miracles.

If the mass is a benign tumor (A localized mass and strictly speaking not a cancer; that won't metastasize to other body parts) then doctors won't always recommend chemo. They give Chemo to patients either who have cancerous tumor or the tumor size is too big.
I’m always exhausted. I eat a little and need to go to sleep. I’m always sleepy. I work I got labs done and all tests came back normal. My dr says I’m just depressed. I don’t think so.
Hi Thank you for your story,my husband diagnosed with signet ring stomach cancer 2011
Stage 3b ,he had hart burn years and years ,he would drink 5-6 coffees a day no breakfast just a dinner at night ,his GP forever prescribed him with antiácid tablets.
His cancer (5 cm) penetrated the stomach lining spread to the lymph nodes.
Anyway he had 3 rounds of chemo with avastin followed by total gastrectomy and another 3 rounds of chemo with avastin,he was in operation for 15 hours,they have scraped 86
Lymph nodes(3 infected),and after 5 years he has been given all clear now year 2024
He is still cancer free,only one problem is weight loss gradually he is down from 86 kilo
to 61 kilo.

it was though few years ,still ongoing 3-4 times a week he wakes up at night with bile reflux it is horrendous ,everyday we have to think about what to eat,problem is not eating he can eat anything but bile comes back at night not once 5-6 times a night..

ohh it was 10-15 years just coffee in the morning no breakfast ,lunch just dinner and endless GP visits always fobbed off with bottle of anti acid tablets,by the beginning of 2011 he was throwing up blood ,it wasn’t red

Yes! You must push! Doctors are busy and are desensitized to symptoms. Also they know almost always it ISNT cancer. We have just as much as a responsibility to get in there and push, if we don’t get answers next doctor ect.

💕🙏🏼🌷Believe and have faith you will make it, cut as much sugar as you can, fast as long as you can… these things helped save from terminal diagnosis along with chemo. I honestly believe this. Don’t just go either what one doctor says, get different opinions from different types of doctors… oncologist at the best hospital you can afford that specializes in your specific type of cancer… this is so important. Visit holistic functional doctors who also work with western medicine. Both have benefits and we need every single benefit we can get!! Best of luck❤

8 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 breastcancer that had spread to my bones. They said it would never shrink. It was about buying me as much time as possible.
But it did shrink. And today 8 years later I LOOK cancer free... The spots on my bones will never disappear, because the structure has changed. But it all looks "dead"/totally inactive since several years....
I've met people, I've heard their stories, and I believe that nothing is necessarily impossible with cancer! 🙂🙏🏼

Agree. The problem is, large size mass or tumor will appear in the late stages of cancer. In order to see what is actually going on the best bet is to go for a biopsy. Blood-work and Image scans are not very helpful in detecting cancer in its early stages. One reason being often the blood-work tests of a cancer patient and those of someone with bad infection are pretty much the same.
I love how you mention not even your family really understands it. People don’t know what it’s like if you actually have a fear to lose your life. Thank you for your video.
Well of course they don’t. If someone doesn’t have it how could they understand? It’s like saying a man can understand a period? Why would they? How could they? You don’t want your family to understand, that means they also have cancer. There’s plenty of places that do have people that completely understand tho! Support groups for people with cancer! And most oncologists have resources for these groups and therapists as well! We can’t expect our families to get it, they simple cannot. Like a woman in labor, her husband cannot understand the pain
You have to be stubborn to win this battle! My life after cancer is not easy at all …. I changed my life completely…. I have been still criticised many times for my behaviour or beliefs…. But I AM ALIVE!!!

I have had several CT scans,and ultrasounds.The Dr.said they came back clear.I had blood test too.The scans don't show cancer unless it is a large amount in your system.
Exactly, certain cancers, there's a small chance you will be able to catch it early.
You need ct with contrast.

She also was stage 4 and had numerous surgeries, removal of spleen, kidney stents, colostomy, and ultimately ended up on TPN before she passed. Thank you for sharing your story. My Mom was diagnosed with stomach cancer the same time as you and the doctor gave her 1-3 years. We lost her December 1st of that year. After she started chemo, she didn’t have even one good day. My Mom was very very strong. It was the hardest year in my life seeing her suffer so much. She couldn’t eat or drink the last 3 weeks of her life but she was still vomiting all of the time from the tumor. Glad you’re feeling good and doing well!! Best wishes for a long life!!! ❤❤
My mother died from cancer too. You are right. It is horrible. She could not keep anything down. It had spread all through her. She suffered but always a smile when she saw me as usual. I miss her every day. She was a wonderful person and my hero.

CT , ultrasounds scans etc results are only as accurate as the consultant radiologist deciphering and reporting on them, if he/she is having a bad day, unwell themselves or power hungry, arrogant smart asses they can easily miss something. Further scans etc tend to be compared to previous scans and reports and I feel that this process can cause certain issues from being identified. I speak from personal experiences.

Hello. I am living the same experience. 5 months ago I was diagnosed with stomach cancer, and on March 5th I had surgery, a Total Gastrectomy. For now I am recovering from surgery, waiting for the next cycle of chemotherapy and radiotherapy to begin at the same time. I hope to God that everything goes well. I hope Viola is doing well!

Hearing you talk about this Viola scares me. I have been having horrible pain since April of 2023. I have gone to the doctor so many times. I’ve had a Ct scan… nothing. I’ve had a colonoscopy and endoscopy the biopsy found nothing. Yet I constantly have pain. They prescribed omeprazole and it doesn’t do anything. I’ve lost 22lbs and I keep going back to the doctor and they keep ordering all these blood test and gastric emptying, Sibo test too all come back negative but they can’t explain how I went from being completely fine and healthy to this. I’m scared it’s something more and they aren’t willing to do anything else. I can’t really eat much and when I eat it hurts.😢

@@suesieq yes a Ct scan with contrast. Should I ask for one without. I don’t know what to do. When I see the GI doctor I mention that I’m scared I have cancer because I’m not getting better and they just say it’s definitely not cancer.
You're having a systemic-wide reaction to Gluten and your gut is screamibg at you. Doesn't matter what tests about Celuac or gluten say. Lay off gluten for 2 weeks. If you start getting better, keep it up. It sounds too simple or unlikely but trust me. Just try it. There's a good chance this is it.

You are amazing. I'm sure when people tell you you'll be fine they are telling you what they want to believe (and are scared of the alternative). They mean well but you need to trust your own judgement. Ultimately, it's you alone that has to go through it. Great video.

Wow, i too, was gaslighted! I had 2 mammograms in 2022 & both times i was told it was nothing. Clear, all good, even though i said something isn't right initially, felt tissue changing, then a definite lump in R breast.
My primary physicians order for ultrasound was not taken/denied because Radiologist "felt i didn't need it." That Radiologist never came to talk to me. I still cannot believe that happened!!! By the time i got to different faciliry it was Stage 3 - 4 😢

I think some Dr's only take it serious when it's their family they go through the works to make sure their healthy . The annoying part is they try and make you seem delusional and mentally crazy
