Explaining how a hardscape and landscape work together is soo hard to find. Amazing back yard! Thank you to the home owners for allowing you to share this creation. Allot of us in the south have these water issues and need these ideas.
What a beautiful yard, pool, gardens and home. I loved seeing it. Loved all the different colors in the gardens. As always the drone shots are spectacular! Thanks to the homeowners for sharing.
Deb here. You and Jerry did a great job landscaping this yard. My landscapers crammed every plant they could in the space not allowing for future growth. I told them that I did not mind empty spaces. I was not familiar with plants 15 years ago so I did not know any better and they took advantage of my ignorance. We had to move an oak leaf hydrangea to the back yard where it had more room to flourish. Plants need to be cut back all the time because of overcrowding. Buyer beware.
Gorgeous planting design and ingenious problem solving for the drainage. The dry creek bed seems like a design feature that could stand by itself without even the need to address water flow. I really admire, Jenny, how you can pair plants in a way with great textural and color contrast but that also flows together beautifully. ❤️
Absolutely beautiful backyard. 😍 Well done!! This reminds me of the tour you did at the 'PW shrub office'...so inspiring to see how beautiful shrubs can be!! Such bold impact! Special thanks to the homeowners for sharing their stunning space. 💚🌺
First, thank you to Travis and Stephanie for sharing there yard with us. Second, Jenny I've noticed you are looking slimmer, fantastic! What are you doing to slim? Sorry, a little side track there! Ya'll did a Super job working/directing the water. The landscape is gorgeous! Woo! Sunshine ligustrum is bursting with color! Great job and thanks for the tour.
Love the use of contrasting colours with the yellow, blues & green, and juxtaposing the hardsscape next to the soft whimsical russian sage. Very effective & eye-catching.
Whoa! What a beautiful space! Isn’t it funny how we take a plant like rudbeckia for granted? It’s stunning in this landscape. I was looking at Desert Plains & Apache Rose grasses yesterday and where I can put in my landscape. Great tour!
Wow! You both have such an amazing gift for design! I wish I lived closer so you could design my garden next year when we redo the front entrance of my house. So beautiful Jenny and Jerry! ❤️
I have that rudbeckia, it can take over your yard in no time. I pull a bunch out every spring to keep it from over growing my other plants. I only planted 3 plants!
All it needed was a couple Mimosas (the drink, not the tree.😁🍸) We are dealing with runoff problems but are not as fortunate to have those drains. Installation costs would be prohibitive; but I can see a dry creek bed working. Thanks for the tour.
Oh my the garden was gorgeous!! What was the beautiful bushes by the house with the blue flowers??? Thank you so much. I wrote down so many plants to order.
Fantastic location! Golf courses maintain their properties so they make a great neighbour. I’d be adding some water loving native plants along the riverbed. This would be interesting to see in a few years as things mature. The Goldsturm Rubeckia is shining in my yard too right now and I don’t have them in 100% sun.
I see a trip to the State Botanical garden this weekend for inspiration! What a great idea Jenny to visit others gardens! Creekside, y'all, made the landscape in this yard look bright & colorful & just lovely!
So.....Why would you put Russian Sage hanging over a pool w small flower bits shed and fall in clogging pool filter...? Seems like non- shedding flowers would be a better choice. 🤔 Just wondering rationale.
wow it's amazing what a very nice garden with a very extraordinary spatial arrangement, always excited to see your videos, good luck always and keep the spirit ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful yard! Looks fairly low maintenance, too. The drone footage changed everything about my perception of the space. I thought the yard was long and oriented completely differently. Love overshots and drone footage for that reason!
Good morning Jenny! I love the plant choices for this beautiful space! I especially like the boxwood and russian sage combo and the blue hortman with the yellow ligustrums. Question...I'm creating a new landscape bed, zone 6b central PA, morning shade, afternoon and evening sun, amended clay soil. I have sprinter boxwoods to put in and a Proven Winners pink chiffon rose of sharon, among other shrubs and perrenials. Do you think they both would do well in my light situation? I noticed you have the chiffon rose of sharon under river birches and wondered how much shade they're in all day and if it affects their bloom. Thanks for this video, the landscaping is stunning!
I love everything about Travis and Stephanie’s yard! Well done with design, execution and maintenance
WOW! Who wouldn’t want a back yard like this. Beautiful!!

Beautiful tour and home. Nice to see how you and the home owner over came a challenge that is now attractive. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks
This is superb landscape design. Would love to view during a rain fall.
Jenny, off topic, but I've noticed your weight loss and you look fantastic! Your garden videos are most informative, love them!

Beautiful! It’s interesting to see how you landscape for so much water.
Lovely and great function. Plus problem solving. Drone footage with music is a very nice ending. Thank you.
Good morning. That yard is gorgeous. Wish I had something like that at my place. Thanks for taking us along.

It’s a beautiful family back yard!

Just beautiful the homeowners have done a wonderful job maintaining what you and Jerry started. And WOW love the drone footage and music 🤗💓💕💞
Great video from your favorite nephew

What a beautiful property. Beautiful landscaping job. Great choice of plants. Lovely setting on the golf course.
GREAT job 👍🤗🤗 and what a lovely home .
Oh my goodness, just beautiful! Congrats to those lucky folks. You guys did an incredible job with the landscaping.
Love the repetition of the chartreuse color throughout the yard! Beautiful! I was wondering if the Russian Sage dried flowers fall into the pool?
Beautiful yard! Looks fairly low maintenance, too. The drone footage changed everything about my perception of the space. I thought the yard was long and oriented completely differently. Love overshots and drone footage for that reason!
Great garden tour, landscaping, and utilization of shrubs and plants!
Just beautiful.

STUNNING 🌹💜
Thank you for sharing this stunning yard!!!
Really beautiful landscape and pool area. I was wondering how many rudbeckias you planted in each area? I have a small area of it and love it.
Love the Garden tours, thank you !
Beautiful plants and awesome landscape job ❤️
beautiful landscaping and a great tour ! Thanks
Gorgeous
Beautiful job🌿
Great video, beautiful yard. Jerry did a great job.
Soooooo pretty!! 🥰 (PS, I’m adding Sunshine Ligustrums and Fire Chiefs for my “list”!)
Thanks Jenny 🌺💚🙃
Beautiful job 👏 I absolutely LOVE the sunshine ligustrum xx
Me too!!
Beatiful😍
Absolutely stunning 🌸💕🌸
I love the rabbit statue in the back yard - do you know where she bought it?
Great video
❤️
Golf courses are notorious for causing drainage issues for the neighbors…
Don’t care for the gold flowers, the rest looks good
Beautiful yard. I thought I saw Mandevilla in the beginning of the tour, is that perennial in your area or is it an annual? 💖💖💖
It’s an annual 😊
@@GardeningwithCreekside Thank you 😊
I thought Zoysia was shade tolerant. Is that variety less shade tolerant? Would Emerald Green Zoysia do better?
Aren’t Rose of Sharon full sun? I’m confused as to the placement. Enjoyed the tour 😊
Jenny, amazing what you've done. Thx for sharing. cgzone8
I need one of those horstmann. 😍gorgeous. Do you have them at the nursery? Price?
We can order it for you. Send me an email and I can give you a quote 😊 jenny@gardeningwithcreekside.com

🙋
Beautiful neighborhood but not a fan of golf course behind the backyard.
💜🧡💜
Oh my….that was absolutely gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing.
