Aaron is definitely my favourite character on emmerdale
I liked the passing of the can for Shadrack. It is a tradition that is new to me. He was really rather young.

I hated shadrak most of the time, but I couldnt help crying at this! Im only young and it reminded me of when my grandad passed on, Im glad Aaron said somet tho just to show he does care about his grandad even if he was a bad tempered old git!

Thanks for the upload. It's always interesting to see how a role is written out of a show. Olivia of Christian & Oliver, in her self-centered prime, just fell into a hole and was covered up. Shadrack apparently went "fishing for beer" and died of a liver disease. From what I've read, alcoholism is more often fatal than not, though I have some alcoholic friends, whom I very much admire, who have not had a drink in more than a 15 years.
such a good simple ending.
OK, I was definitely bawling by the end of this episode. I know that he said terrible things about Aaron, but he should have forgiven his grandpa. I felt so bad for Chaz, too. (The actress did a FANTASTIC job.)
The passing of the can thing was totally new to me, too. It seems fitting, in this case.
@walkingkodi I know! According to that, Shadrack was several months younger than my mother. That's rather depressing. That's one more reason to stay away from the drink.

Where is Lisa, was she away somewhere? And charity. Gennie and chas his daughters are there, Aaron his grandson who most respect for him. Zak his brother, marlon, Sam and cain his nephews. Was Carl late cheating with eve?

Such a bizzare 'tribute' to a man who died of liver disease caused by alcholism after falling into a river trying to pick up some beer cans.
The Dingles are hilarious... but Im sure glad I aint one.

Is taking sips of beer during a funeral a UK thing or just a DIngle thing?
A bit of both, its not traditional but people up north drink for pretty much every occasion which is where emmerdale is based
