Steen deserves to be in WWE. It would be amazing if he made it that far because a lot of people who have a lot power would be behind him. He'd be a dominant guy in NXT, but on the main-roster, they'd probably give him the "you're not top guy material" bullshit that doesn't apply to today's wrestling.
UPDATE: I stand corrected, he's a dominant force in NXT, as he is the NXT Champion. Higher-ups are behind him like crazy, and he's feuding with top names in the business. However, I was wrong about his main-roster shtick. WWE is letting Kevin Owens be himself - the ass-kicking motherfucker!
I agree with you completely, steen deserves to get some ''mainstream attention''. He is a great worker with a very exciting move set and is as good as daniel bryan and sami zayn / el generico (who I feel should be pushed when he makes it to the main roster in my opinion.) I can easily see him becoming wwe world heavyweight champion if he makes it that far.

Key thing is Steen finding something that is true to him and that works within constraints of WWE. We've seen ton of Indy guys do this as of late. If they can get creative enough to find a comfortability and balance to what he brings and what they bring, it could be fucking gold. But after so many yrs for him on circuit, it's time he goes for it though. You don't get into wrestling without that dream.

Looks like we might be hearing this on Wednesday nights on TNT come January 2022!!! I have to admit as cool as Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson and CM Punk and all the recent AEW debuts have been I think I'd be most excited for Kevin Steen to debut in AEW. He just tweeted about the MT Rushmore of PWG which of course was Steen, Cole and The Young Bucks...well that would infer that either Adam Cole and The Bucks are headed to WWE, highly unlikely, or that once Steen's current deal expires in Jan 22 he'll be headed for ALL ELITE WRESTLING.
