I love it. I’m Irish so I don’t know if I’m being biased. The potential to do well is massive. All the possibilities with staging is exciting. I have no doubt that the staging will be brilliant, and obviously Bambie is a great performer .

Bambie Thug is a brilliant performer with many brilliant songs and incredible videos ,check out "Tsunami" "Love Bites" her live sessions at the BBC, and much more on CZcams, she's a bit of creative visionary in my opinion. I feel like I dreamed of the name "Bambie Thug" before they were revealed to me on Eurosong 2024 in such an unexpected way like all epiphanies out of the blue💙, Doomsday 💙blue.

This is my interpretation fwiw
Avada Kedavra isn't just a Harry Potter kill spell it's an old Aramaic expression meaning I will destroy as I speak. And as a non binary they are very aware of the power of words. Accepting someone else's preference for a star over a moon but at the same time believing that that person is living a lie and may have a predisposition which is more real and that they have a false consciousness. To me it's similar to Freddie Mercury when he sang Mama I just killed a man where it's generally accepted the man he killed was his heterosexual identity.

Dia dhuit as Éireann 🇮🇪 Hello from Ireland, I’m so excited to see what they do with this on the big stage , I love all the ancient Irish Ogham symbols on the screen in the background. The first Irish alphabet . It’s dark and scary but basically a broken heart angry and hurt .
They're Runes, not Ogham.

Bambie was touching my soul through the screen, even in all the interviews - but the performance exceeded my expectations even on this small national final stage. I think the live performance didn't do justice to what the song is in the studio or on platforms, both samples are a totally different experience. Despite this, I love a super alternative proposal that is out of the ordinary, that brings musical changes and guides me through a super satanic dark world. PLEASE PLEASE I recommend to everyone to heart the song on streaming, you might get enchanted by Bambies creativity.
It is definitely my favorite this year, after having already heard several proposals from other countries. I am pleading for the staging for Eurovision to improve much more, and that this time they are giving you to prepare is well spent; because a performance like this can be unforgettable for Eurofans around the world. My douze points for bambie!!!!!
the whole cetic/nordic vibe will pull in votes from the scandanavian countries perhaps but other than that it will struggle which is a pity as it is compelling & unusual piece of art.
I see your point. Unfortunately under 30% of people possesses genuine creativity, so a hypercreative like Bambie will never be mainstream, but still, being exposed in Eurovision is a big step in the right direction!

Can I advise you of the following:
1) The flag that you showed on screen at the start was NOT from Ireland, but the Ivory Coast (The Irish flag is GREEN WHITE AND ORANGE) Just the reverse of what you showed.
2) You had way too much reverb on the vocal at the start of the preview video. There is no need to use ANY reverb or audio processing
Let the original broadcast, as shown by our roadcaster RTÉ go out with NO REVERB.

Hate to spoil the vibe, but many in Ireland dont rate this as a good song, and are even baffled by it, but it seems mostly a Eurovision Stage Conest anyway these days, melodies almost irrelevant. so if that's what important I guess it will fit right in. But I miss the days when the actual song mattered. Don't hate me for my opinion!
I love Bambie Thug's metaphor in the song of using words to destroy. Avada Kedavra,Bambie. Predisposition over preference over prejudice. And hopefully some perspective
We're all living a lie to some extent so let none of us claim ownership of the whole truth. And that's why when given the choice of being kind or being right choose kindness. It has a longer shelf life.
Good point. However some comments dismiss former Irish entries, saying finally a good song etc, as if all previous songs were not up to it. Its down to personal taste, and no one is right or wrong.
