No More Masterwork failing, Tempering Materials improved, hell even the amount of Materials needed for Imprinting was vastly Reduced, and there is more.

You can't just level glyphs to max level instantly that would make NMD useless. also it's not difficult to get glyphs to max level you have 3 months to do it.
@@crumblingdarknesssphere604 that is true, but NMD are boring to be honest and the ones that you have to run back and worth is just not worth the time… if they kept the Vaults then I wouldn’t have an issue. Also, Obols become useless later in the game anyways, most people don’t do the little events to get Obols on purpose, it’s usually for something else. This way, in my opinion , would make Obols more useful.
@@alextsarevskiy9886 they won't be useless next season because of the new codex. Rolling rings or weapons for aspects will be a thing like it is already, except I'll be able to save my 180% shockwave aspect for druid and don't have to worry about getting another one that much, it's already stupid rare because I got my 180% at 65 and I still have not found another one that high, so I'm stuck with a 110% roll despite spending around 60k obels to get another one.
@@crumblingdarknesssphere604 I guess, but because we got the new codex you won’t need to find the aspects anymore, and trying to find that 1 ~ 3% increase by using Obols doesn’t make sense financially… because we’re going to get a lot of guaranteed legendary drops from many sources. Now, if they added a chance to get greater affix using Obols that would be something to chase for. 😉
I'm genuinely excited, it's going to be basically a whole new game because of the mastering and tempering, the level 200 bosses I don't care about because regardless if they increased the loot it still takes a shit ton of materials to get, outside of that I'm excited for everything else.
Still hope the iron wolves temper manuals are seasonal tempering manuals.
Even if there isn’t a season theme s4 changes are so tremendous it feels like a season. I mean helltide is like a bloodtide now and tempering manuals like a season power… there is enough to play around with tbh. Especially for people that didn’t played 150h PTR 😅

Yes this! Maybe a mid season update? But tempering is where they can go buckwild and add in insane variance with builds, even make new ones!
It absolutely is it’s own seasonal theme, they changed everything! It’d be silly to add another mechanic on top of all this
You are my favorite D4 content creator, you give us the good the bad and the ugly without overstating things one way or another. I am excited for this season. I can understand why some may be disappointed with the fact that there is "no season theme", but we all have to remember that this really only applies to people who played on the PTR or follow the game closely. For the majority of players, this WILL be a full season theme and in fact the most impactful they have seen. I also think it is good for us to get a season where we are playing with the base unmodified game so we can continue to provide feedback for fine tuning these new base game mechanics. I hope blizzard ups the Uber Unique drop rate.... I STILL haven't gotten a single Uber Unique in D4 and i have played the shit out of all 3 seasons 😢.

@@P4wnyhofI was not sure that the every three months you get a brand new mechanic would continue. It seems like a lot of work for somethinbg temporary. And this mechanic needs to also be very intersting, very good etc, otherwise as we saw people complain and trash the game. So maybe they decided that let's skip that for now and focus on the main game.

@@smolPig21 don't have access to it, and simply learning the basics and taking time to enjoy exploring it are 2 different things.
I'm with you about the lack of a seasonal theme. But the new changes make me want to dive back in after almost a year away from D4.

Thanks for the video! Excited for buffed skeletal mages since my necros have always sacrificed everything. Be nice to fight with some buddies. My only complaint is the multiplayer aspect. I would still like to EASILY get a group to run nightmare dungeons without having to go on discord etc. The most fun times are with OTHER players and quickly and easily making groups would make the game MUCH more fun imho.
Very happy with all the changes, and how you explain them to us. Two things that still bother me: Glyphs are still not account/season/class bound and we can't get our Uber uniques we got from previous seasons from the Eternal realm.
Yes glyphs is annoying - things from eternal to seasonal will never happen - Ubers are a joke and not worth the time

The impossibility of tempering unique, it's a good option, and it should stay that. However some uniques should be reworked, change those redundant affixes. E.g. if there is no DR for legendary items there should be more DR for uniques such as pants. (tibault's will)
When the new season starts will i lose all the materials from my seasonal character?

Excited!!!! I love the fact that we have the loot totally reworked and the classes bumped up so they can spend real time and energy on season 5. I don't mind season 4 being insignificant beacuse of the game rework to be ready for the future.
I guess if they get one season to be lazy with the seasonal theme, this would be the one. It does kinda make me wish I didn't blast the PTR so hard though, as it feels like I've more or less already played season 4 for a week... But, still looking forward to it!
Edit: So long as they don't nerf the minions, I'll be a happy boy! I've wanted to build a strong endgame necro summoner since launch and it's finally a thing.
I hope this means they will make gambling better. Having only 925 items gambled at certain levels would really make opols so much better.

Mmm.. I guess it looks interesting enough to take a look at, but it could also very easily fall apart after just a couple of days'worth of playing if they end up not playing their cards right..
I have been Sofa King excited for Season 4. While it's a little disappointing that the seasonal theme isn't a "separate" home run, I'm willing to give Bliz a pass for the ginormous changes they're doing to the base game. They NEEDED to get this right, and if that meant spending less time & effort on the theme this time around, so be it. Maybe it'll make the 5 theme that much better...maybe???
Master Work mat increase? I hated that in Lost Ark. I guess if I don't have to farm hours on hours to only have a 1% chance to succeed.

Just a question, no front at all! Do you really care that much about a seasonal mechanic? Isn't it better that with Season 4 the game is actually gonna be playable and enjoyable (Again)? I'll gladly trade that for a season mechanic. Never enjoyed one of these anyways.

Listen I'm not trying to yuck anyones yum but fundementally, I'm still not on board with this whole idea of starting a new character with every season. I haven't heard a single argument of how it's more benefical besides the classic "it's about the journey, not the destination." I personally latch onto the idea of continuing my journey, not starting a new one where 80% of it is the same every couple of months.
See this is where you can just enjoy eternal realm and don't have to understand :) It is simply playing the same game but different every season!

Actually i just wanna play "Diablo" again and this is a right foot in the right direction for me. Yes blizzard is greedy but you are not forced to buy any item. I just wanna come home and slash demons or whatever and have fun. Not have to worry soooo much about builds etc.
Diablo is still the only game that gives me the feeling it does give me. There is no game for me doing what diablo does. Sure there are bad things in it. But honestly i am happy the game exists.
Thanks for your videos all the time. I wish u best for next seasons. When i listen to you it also feels like u love the game itself. Even if they sometimes do very bad decisions.

I tried saying this on a reply to one of robs videos and just got attacked being called a hater and mocked. Glad you said it as it was disappointing not having a real theme. Now 3 months until we see if the base changes can lead into exceptional seasons.
+ but thats the thing those people dont realize they are as bad as the one they want to talk against (like real haters). they just dont hate the game they hate the persons not liking and saying what happens to the game. not saying PTR was bad in any way, but no season theme? like they themselfs promised that EVERY D4 season will be bigger than any D3 season ever... yeah sure. good promise but it was just talking a big talk and not walking the walk in the end. selling is their profession not actually delivering. thats the problem here.

Couple things. It’s Public Test Realm not Patch Test Realm. Second, the level of entitlement and childishness about a season with possibly no mechanic is bizarre. Literally anything they would have done, people would have found something to bitch about.

After the PTR i couldn't play the current season (felt worthless), so, actually, bringing the PTR stuff into the S4 and adding the Iron Wolves (which we didn't test) is totally ok, IMHO
I really don't get the disappointment comma you want them to have a season with very few outlying temporary mechanics so they can actually test the system
2 much time spend on bs.... this game feels like single player playstation game and when i open diablo page and look at the new season ... half the page is " new title " , " new transmogs "( awful btw ), 300 weapons transmog , 4500 armor transmog and so on . Those things are good only when u play around players ... should be tied to stuff that are hard to do so you basically flex with your new title that not many can get or transmog or whatever. In a gaame wheer u mostly play alone and u dont meet anyone if u dont know ppl outside the game to play with its just dumb. Game is basically half mmo without the other players. So much talk of epic pvp before the game was released and that was a lie. Nothing has done for pvp for 4 freakin seasons . I understand its ARPG .. but you cant TEASE ppl with pvp promises and then u dont change , improve or expand on it and ur game feels like god of war single player. Fok diablo. Ye i know other ARPG's are also like that , but they didnt advertised and tease on multiplayer and pvp aspects to bait buyers!

@@ethokjonesies the game Is out from giune, almost 1 year, priced 70 euro and still have no endgame. The devs are payed for what? They have to ask players what they want cos they have no clue, and the good ideas are Just stolen from other games. I played all the blizzard games since d2, wc2 and sc.. you think they Will save d4? Maybe next year, maybe... They were saving ow2 too and they failed, not talking about what wow Is right now.. (i know are different devs, but Is still blizzard). Have Faith of you want, i have not.
